  Pivot (Experience: ６〜１０ years) After going full circle...

  

  These days, with no-glue and plastic balls,
  tension rubber plus a special-material blade
  gets talked about like it's the obvious choice.

  I think a lot of people are working from that assumption
  and trying out all kinds of combinations,
  and I was one of them too.

  But then

  "When I swing all the way through it goes long, it flies off"
  "My receives got worse somehow"
  ↓in other words
  "I've been kind of self-destructing in matches"

  — that worry went on for a long time,
  so I wondered what combination would actually solve the problem,
  and on a whim I tried putting on the "Mark V AD" I used to love,
  and honestly, this isn't bad at all.

  I felt like the idea that "high-bounce = mediocre" or "high-bounce = for beginners"
  might be just as unreliable as "tension rubber plus special-material blade."

  Bottom line: even swinging all the way through, my drives go in,
  my receives come back stable,
  and I'm back to beating opponents I couldn't beat before.

  Given all this, I guess equipment is something
  you really do have to judge for yourself,
  without getting swayed by ads or trends.

  ノングルーでプラボール、に対して
  テンションラバーで特殊素材ラケット、が
  当然の選択肢のように語られる昨今。

  それを前提にしていろいろな組み合わせを
  模索されている方が多いと思いますし
  自分もその一人でした。

  でも

  「なんか振りぬくとオーバーするな、とんでっちゃうな」
  「レシーブなんか下手になったな」
  ↓つまり
  「試合で自滅気味だな」

  という悩みが長らく続いていたりもして
  じゃぁどういう組み合わせなら課題解決に至るのか、と
  ふと、昔愛用していた「マークV AD」を貼ってみたところ
  ことのほか、悪くないんですこれが。

  「テンションラバーで特殊素材ラケット」と同じくらい
  「高弾性=イマイチ」「高弾性=初心者向け」の情報は
  アテにならないのかもしれないなぁと感じました。

  結論、振りぬいてもドライブは入る
  レシーブは安定して返せる
  勝てなかった相手に勝てるようになる、な状態に返り咲いてます。

  こういうのがあるんで、やっぱり用具は
  広告や、流行りに左右されず
  自分で判断しなくてはならないですね。

  Mark V devotee

  

  I used to love this rubber, so I went back to basics and tried it again after a long time. This is the max-thickness version.
  The hardness is about medium, roughly the same as Sriver EL, I'd say. The bounce is on the modest side and it's easy to get spin on, so I think it's a great fit for beginners.
  The control is excellent, so it's perfect as a beginner's first or second rubber, or for anyone who wants to make their topspin drives more consistent.

  昔愛用していたので、初心に戻ろうと久々に使ってみました。トクアツです。
  硬さは中間硬度ぐらいで、スレイバーELと同じくらいだと思います。弾みは控えめで、回転かけやすいので、初心者にピッタリだと思います。
  コントロールが非常に優れているので、初心者の1~2枚目や、ドライブを安定させたい方にはもってこいです。

  Elementary school students (Experience: ６〜１０ years) A mysterious topsheet

  

  Compared to Rozena, a tension rubber, this one doesn't bounce as much. But it flies more than the Jamin I used before. I have it on the backhand (inverted side), and it's easy to chiquita with.
  There's a reason I rated the spin a 9. After putting a Nittaku tacky protective sheet on it, it became slightly tacky. My Rozena on the other side didn't do that even with the same treatment. It's not even a TSP protective sheet, so honestly, it's a bit of a mystery.

  やっぱりテンションのロゼナと比べちゃうと弾みません。でも普通に前使ってたジャミンより飛びます。裏に貼ってますが、チキータしやすいです。
  回転を9にしたのには理由が有ります。ニッタクの粘着保護シート貼ってたら微粘着になりました。表に貼ってたロゼナはならなかったのに。TSPの保護シートでも無いのに、なんていうか、謎です。

  Master (Experience: ２〜３ years) !?!?

  

  Someone recommended this to me early on so I tried it. (Black, medium thickness)
  At first I used it on the backhand, but maybe because it's on the softer side I never really got used to it.
  So I tried hitting with it on the forehand instead...
  Easy to use!
  Being soft makes it easy to control!
  It spins well too, and if you swing all the way through you get speed as well.
  Personally I'd recommend putting it on the forehand
  (Blade used: Yasaka Mebule A)

  最初の方におすすめされて使って見ました。(黒・中)
  初めの方はバックに使っていましたが、柔らかめだからかあまり慣れませんでした。
  試しにフォアで打ってみると・・・
  使いやすい!
  柔らかめのためコントロールがしやすい！
  回転もかかるし、しっかり振りぬけばスピードも出ます。
  自分的にはフォアに貼ることをおすすめします
  (使用ラケット　yasaka メビュールa)

  Beginner (Experience: Less than a year) Easy to use

  

  I've never seen such an easy-to-use rubber! It spins well, it's fast, and it's easy to control. So glad I found this rubber!

  And imitation (Experience: ２〜３ years) An overall stable rubber

  

  First, even against a series of hard hits, you can block easily just by putting your blade out. That said, compared to today's popular tension-type or energy-sponge rubbers, it's far behind — more of an old-school rubber. The bounce is on the modest side, so you need power to hit strong drives and smashes. Since it doesn't bounce much, the control is good, so it might be a good one to start with and switch away from once you get used to it.

  まず、強打を連打されてもラケットを出すだけで簡単にブロックしやすい。ただ、今流行りのテンション系やエネルギー内蔵などと言ったラバーと比べると程遠く昔ながらのラバーと言ったところ。弾み控え目なので、ドライブやスマッシュ強打するには力がいる。弾まない分、コントロールがいいのでここから始めて慣れたら替えるのがいいかも。

  Katsu (Experience: Less than a year)

  

  It gets a decent amount of spin, but it feels a little lacking. Still, I think the control is good. Also, if you're going to use it, I'd go with the thick version since it doesn't bounce much.

  回転はある程度かかりますが、ちょっと物足りない気がします。でも、コントロールはいいと思います。また、使うとしたらあまり弾まないので厚さは厚がいいと思います。
