      Using this on the forehand side for chopping.

      This is really good!
      It doesn't bounce that much on regular forehand hits, but if you hit it hard, it flies back just as hard.

      Also, the amount of spin on serves, pushes, and chops is exceptional (chopping especially is really amazing).

      I felt Vega Asia gives more speed on topspin drives (especially when playing away from the table), but this is more than enough!
      Meet shots like smashes are also easy to do.

      I think I'll stick with this on my forehand for a while.

      I have Bryce Speed on my forehand.
      But Vega Japan is way faster.
      Backhand topspin drives especially are fast.
      The control is also great, so the ball goes exactly where I aim.
      I recommend it for the backhand.
      Definitely give it a try.

      If you're a drive-oriented player, it's easy to use, and it really has the kind of feel Japanese players like. It also gets plenty of spin, and the speed is solidly fast. Good value for money too. I'd recommend it from beginners up to intermediate/advanced players. Works great on either the forehand or backhand!

      I played with 05 on the forehand and Vega Japan on the backhand. Honestly, I think using Vega Japan on both sides would work just as well. It's fairly soft, yet it still bounces well and gets solid spin. It's also reasonably priced, so I'd recommend it to people who are short on cash but don't want to compromise on equipment, or to those who aren't ready to commit to Tenergy yet.
