I think it depends on the player, but this gives you a lot of speed. It also puts a lot of spin on the ball, so you can produce heavy, fast shots. That said, it's hard, so I don't think it's suited for the backhand side.

I used to use Vega Pro. Compared to Vega Pro, you can tell it's softer as soon as you hit forehand shots with it. Drives get an insane amount of spin, and you can even go for loops aimed right at the edge of the table.

In the end it just wasn't for me, but I can say it's a genuinely appealing rubber. You can return spin without losing to your opponent's drive, and it's perfect for driving and countering. That said, personally I felt the serve spin was a little lacking. As for control, you can place the ball right on the edge of the table with confidence, so you'll be satisfied there. Overall, I'd say it's a rubber that holds its own against Tenergy.

I put it on my forehand side, and no matter where I hit from, the spin and speed are flawless.
The power is outstanding.
I thought it would be hard, but it's not as hard as I expected - it's just right.

This is a well-rounded, do-everything rubber. You can put solid spin on the ball, but you can also hit fast, flat shots! If you can master it, it becomes a powerful weapon. It's a step below Tenergy of course, but I think it's a really good rubber for intermediate players!

People say this is a copycat of Tenergy, but this rubber actually has its own personality.
First off, drives draw an arc that's neither too high nor too low. In a way, it's very consistent. That said, you won't feel the grip on the ball unless you really sink it into the sponge. If you don't commit fully to the spin, the ball just skips off and it ends up feeling like a flat hit, but that's a matter of skill. Speed is similarly a matter of arm strength - if you've got the power, you'll get the speed, and if you don't, you won't.
Blocking is easy, and it suits penhold loopers who like to swing through on shots close to the table. My impression is that it grips the ball for spin while not being too affected by incoming spin.
I'd especially recommend it to penhold loopers. There isn't really any technique it struggles with - it's a true all-rounder.
Any awkwardness with short-game technique can be covered with a bit of adjustment and practice.
So if you're switching from a tacky rubber, I'd recommend starting with a different rubber instead.All Speed Spin Control
