I set this up meaning it to be a backup blade, but it turned out to be an interesting one.
The forehand is great for hard topspin drives, and with a max-thin sponge on the backhand it's good for pushing too - it's not easily affected by incoming spin, and receives are stable.

I'm a student player whose main weapon is the topspin drive. I put Vega Europe (medium sponge) on both sides. Let me share my impressions after about a year of use.
As for the rebound, being a carbon racket, I'd say it's quite bouncy. Thanks to that bounce, the attacking power on both forehand and backhand is more than enough. I thought "if it bounces this much, doesn't that mean it lacks stability? ('_'?)" but it resonates solidly in your hand, so it's actually easy to control. Also, my setup ended up quite light overall, so I can go full swing on both forehand and backhand and attack even from close to the table.

If you're a beginner struggling over which racket to pick, I think you should just go with this one for now. It has a special material in it, but it doesn't have any extreme quirks, so I think it's very easy to use. The price is reasonable too, so it's worth just trying it out. (Though I heard it went up in price recently...) It works with any rubber — tacky, tension, semi-tacky, high-elasticity, anything works. It matches with almost any pips-out or unusual rubber too. It really has no quirks, so even though it has a special material, I'd recommend giving this racket a try.

Both the board thickness and hardness are just a bit above average, so I think it's easy for anyone to use. Despite being called "carbon," it doesn't fly too much or too little — it has just the right bounce and is very easy to use.
I think this racket is above average in every category. My personal recommendation is to just go ahead and buy this racket right from when you start table tennis, and then decide whether to switch or stick with it once your preferences change as you become more advanced. Since it's such a mild, characterless racket, I think it's totally fine to use it as your very first racket even though it has a special material in it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I've been playing table tennis for over 30 years,
and I've been looking for a racket to finally make my shakehand debut, of all things at this point.
Then I found the Swat Carbon on sale cheap.
I'd been interested in carbon rackets for a while, so I bought it right away.
For rubbers, I went from Fly Atspin on both sides to VENTUS Extra max thickness on the forehand
and Agrit max thickness on the backhand.
I'm sure the rubber pairing plays a part, but it bounces more than I expected.
Since I remember the days of single-ply blades, I do wish it were a bit softer.
