As mentioned above, I have a speed-oriented short pips rubber on my backhand. At first I was worried whether it would work out, but it turned out to be neither too fast nor too slow — really easy to use. I set it up this way because I prioritize weight and usability. Mark V HPS on my forehand isn't a particularly hard rubber, so it doesn't have that much power, but thanks to the grabbing feel that's characteristic of arylate carbon and its well-balanced bounce, it's easy to gauge how much force to use, and I can control the power properly even in the short game (/´∀`) I've been using this for two years now and it's still my go-to blade.

The blade itself is on the softer side, so hard rubbers go really well with it. I especially feel G-1 suits it, so I have it on both sides. Also, since it doesn't bounce too much, I think it's a blade with great control.

I think this blade flies incredibly far thanks to the ALC arylate carbon — for players who play close to the table it might even fly too much. Unlike the Timo Boll ALC, the carbon is on the inner layer, so it doesn't fly quite as much as the Timo Boll ALC, but I think it's a great blade once you get used to it.
Also, because the carbon is on the inside, the spin was strong and drives are easy to hit. You also get that carbon sound when you hit the ball.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch

Really easy to use. It goes well with pretty much any rubber. I'd recommend rubbers with a harder sponge like Tenergy 05 or Fastarc G-1. It's not the type that gives you crazy speed, so I'd recommend it to people who want solid control.

I switched over from the Key Shot Alpha.
With the carbon added, the power went up quite a bit. The short game is easy to handle, and going for a hard shot is easy too — everything about my play got more consistent. I think anyone can play consistently with this, so give it a try!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch

When you're hitting lightly in rallies, you don't get that hard arylate-carbon feel — it has a comfortable, wood-like feel that's very easy to control.
When you hit hard, the arylate carbon kicks in and you get a lot of speed. It holds the ball really well too, so you can control it properly.
