AYA 12345 (Experience: 11〜20 years) A half-pips rubber leaning heavily toward short pips
-

I'm writing this comparing it to the Attack 8 (M pips, 43°), which I've used for over 4 years.
This rubber leans much more toward a standard short-pips character than the Attack 8.
On a normal light shot it gives you a gentle topspin, and since the sponge is soft you can get some flight even on light shots. (On the flip side, hitting hard doesn't give you much power.) With spin-generating techniques like pushes, backhand drives, and chiquitas, you can get a decent amount of spin on the ball. Blocking is relatively stable, but it won't produce a knuckleball unless you create the variation yourself.
Unlike the Attack 8, this isn't a rubber that gives you variation automatically. It's suited to players who want defensive ability from short pips but like to add their own spin variation. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Equipment refugees (Experience: 2〜3 years) For a chopper's backhand

Using the medium thickness on my backhand as a chopper.
With the extra-thin version, the impact goes straight through to the blade and it actually ends up feeling harder, so if you want stability on your backhand chops, medium is the only real choice.Including inverted, short pips, long pips, and anti-spin rubbers, this is the softest-feeling rubber I've ever used. It feels like the pips of Curl P-4 made lower, with both the sheet and sponge made even softer.
As long as you don't get the angle drastically wrong, it stops most hard shots. The pips are small, but on impact they fold over and grip the ball, so chops bite really well. More than that, I appreciate that even if I'm a little off on the touch for a push, the ball still goes in.
The power on a counter-smash gets spoiled, but it does seem to turn into an annoying knuckleball-type shot.
It's a very practical, match-ready rubber.

Kaolin On the soft side

It's basically like long pips, haha. Since it uses a really soft sponge, the ball sinks in easily, so you get very stable play, and the ball you send back is nasty to receive. You can do all sorts of things with it, attacking like short pips close to the table, or chopping from mid-distance, so I'd recommend it to all-round players!

Yutchi @ cut A short pips with crazy variation

A friend of mine was using this, it looks like long pips. Performance-wise it's the kind of long pips you can actually attack with, kind of like the Attack 8. I think if you can really master it, it becomes an amazing weapon, but it didn't suit me. Even my friend who uses it doesn't seem to think it's easy to handle, but even though he hasn't been playing table tennis that long, it's incredibly hard to play against (strong). Every single ball changes and you have no idea what's coming, which I hate, haha. It's a rubber that a wide range of players can use, from choppers to close-to-the-table attackers, so it's great if you want to win.
