This rubber is a great pick for players who want a large-ball rubber that feels close in performance to long pips or an unpredictable short pips rubber.
The reason is that if you're someone who uses long pips or unpredictable short pips on your backhand or on a penhold blade in regular play, using the Donuckle 44 for large ball lets you play the same way you would with regular ball.
From your opponent's perspective, the ball comes out so strange it doesn't even feel like large ball, and it's very hard for them to handle.
If you're someone who uses long pips or unpredictable short pips with regular ball and you're moving over to large ball, this is definitely a rubber worth trying.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

This is a review as a chopper using large ball.
With large ball, the usual impression is that it's hard to get spin on your chops and opponents just knock them back easily, but with this rubber you can put spin on your chops that's comparable to 40mm ball.
The arc on your chops stays low, and after the ball bounces on the opponent's side it kind of stops and keeps spinning, which makes it a tough ball for them to attack.
As for attacking, there's nothing particularly hard to do either — hit it flat off the racket for a fast knuckle ball, or brush the sheet for a solid topspin drive.
I've written a lot here, but the biggest strength of this rubber is really its control.
The ball lands exactly where you aim it, and I think that's this rubber's greatest strength.
Even if you're not a chopper, I'd recommend giving it a try if you like to play a game built around placement, or if you mix things up with your forehand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
