RAKZA X is the first rubber with NSS (New Surface System), Yasaka’s new production process to improve the grip of the rubber surface. NSS gives a stronger touch when hitting the ball, and the control in both attack and blocking is improved.
In RAKZA X Soft the same surface rubber is working together with a relatively soft sponge, Feel Sponge, with good catapult effect. The combination of the elastic sponge and high grip top sheet increase the the feeling and improves the control of your game.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The majority of reviewers highly praise the ease of imparting spin and control performance. However, many reviews point out insufficient speed, suggesting it is not suitable for power-oriented advanced players or hard rackets. It is recognized as a versatile, easy-to-use rubber for beginners to intermediate players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Soft sponge makes spin easy even for beginners
    • Backspin attacks are easy to lift with stability
    • Speed is modest, not suitable for power-focused players
    • Excellent control performance, usable on both forehand and backhand
    • Slightly shorter lifespan, whitening occurs around 3 months
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe balance between soft sponge and sheet strength is excellent, allowing high-spin shots with minimal effort. It performs well for beginners through intermediate players on both sides, making it a cost-effective classic rubber.
▽ CriticalThe speed is slow, and hitting techniques like drives and short strokes are difficult to execute. For powerful players, the reaction is insufficient, making it unsuitable for advanced levels.

      Very easy to use
Both the spin and the bounce are just about right

I used it on my forehand, and no matter what I did with it, it was so versatile — I really felt like I'd found a great rubber.

I臺 (Experience: 4〜5 years) Good for plastic balls too

      Reviews by user

These are my impressions after a test hit. Personally I thought it works well on both forehand and backhand. What stood out to me especially is that with most rubbers, hitting with a plastic ball makes it hard to get spin or serve well, but this rubber has good grip, so it really grabs the ball and lets you produce spinny topspin drives and heavy backspin serves. I think it's a rubber that's easy to use for any player.

The ball sinks into the sponge really well and the control is outstanding. It keeps good spin while still giving you speed, so this rubber genuinely impressed me... And since it lasts a long time, it's easy on your wallet too!!

Ishihara ☺︎ Yae (Experience: 4〜5 years) Spins great!!

      Reviews by user

It's easier to sink the ball into the sponge and get spin compared to Rakza X, but since the Soft version has less bounce than the X, I didn't think it was great for the forehand. On the backhand though, I found it really stable. Once you get the ball to sink in and hit a topspin drive, it has great power. I'd recommend it to intermediate players who want to play with consistency. Also, since the hardness is 40-45, I think it's a rubber that works for pretty much anyone.

I think it's a well-balanced rubber. The control in particular is quite a step up compared to the regular Rakza X.
