RAKZA X is the first rubber with NSS (New Surface System), Yasaka’s new production process to improve the grip of the rubber surface. NSS gives a stronger touch when hitting the ball, and the control in both attack and blocking is improved.
In RAKZA X Soft the same surface rubber is working together with a relatively soft sponge, Feel Sponge, with good catapult effect. The combination of the elastic sponge and high grip top sheet increase the the feeling and improves the control of your game.

It's on the softer side and stable. However, neither the top speed nor the max spin is that high.

I had a good experience with Rakza 7, so with high expectations I bought both the X and the X Soft.

These are my impressions using this on both sides of a Timo Boll ALC in thick.
Just like the ads say, the grip is really strong and it catches the ball easily. On topspin drives, thanks to that strong grip, the ball comes in stable with a good balance of spin, speed, and control.
On serve and receive, since it's on the softer side, the amount of spin was about average, but when it did bite, it bit hard.
It doesn't have standout spin or speed performance, but it consistently produces good, stable shots, so I'd recommend it to junior high schoolers.
Also, even though it's on the softer side, it's not mushy at all — it's plenty firm to use on the forehand too.

Among the many spin-oriented tension rubbers out there,
this one has particularly high speed.
And best of all, being an NSS it doesn't slip easily, so if that's something you struggle with,
give it a try.

Medium pen back haste (Experience: １１〜２０ years)

Used on the reverse side of a Chinese penhold.
I used it with a five-ply all-wood blade and an inner-composite blade.
The sponge is around 42.5 degrees, but since the sheet is hard it feels more like 45. It works on forehand too, but I think it suits the backhand better.
The shot traces a high arc, so it lands on the table easily and stays stable. The sheet's grip is so good that the ball never really drops off it, which makes it easy to drive against backspin, and counters are stable too.
Even though the sponge is soft, the sheet is hard, so it doesn't feel like the ball sinks in all that much.
Even hitting flat it still traces an arc, so it might take a bit of getting used to.
Away from the table it feels a bit short on power, so I'd recommend it for players who play close to or at mid-distance.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

A friend of mine had this and let me hit with it, so here are my impressions.
Going in, I pictured it as the Soft version of Rakza X — an easy-to-use rubber — but when I actually hit with it, it felt hard.
The sponge is indeed on the soft side and you can feel it grabbing the ball, but the sheet is hard.
Because of that hard sheet, my overall impression was that it felt hard.
If you go in expecting it to feel like Rakza 7 Soft from the same series, it feels hard enough that you wouldn't believe it's also labeled Soft.
That said, even though it's positioned as a soft rubber, the short game over the table doesn't go wild on you, so I think it suits people who use hard rubbers but want just a bit more ball-holding.
The sheet's grip is really good, so loop drives bite well and pushes get plenty of spin on them too. Just keep in mind this rubber is also very sensitive to the opponent's spin before you decide to buy it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
