HEXER Duro is designed for all players who demand from their rubber strong spin and speed characteristics combined with very good durability. The 100% natural caoutchouc upper layer and the medium-hard sponge in HEXER technology give access to a very broad range of strokes: the sticky upper layer provides a prolonged ball contact time thus the player leads the ball longer and experiences more control during passive as well as during active strokes. The highly developed endurance enables a later change of rubbers which is comfortable and economic. This has made the HEXER Duro earn the rating LONGLASTING PERFORMANCE.

Honestly, my playing style is all-round. On top of that, I fight by putting short pips on one side and inverted rubber on the other and flipping between them. Hexer Duro is perfect for someone like me. Great on the forehand, great on the backhand. Great balance of spin and speed. Seriously, highly recommended.

I think this is a pretty safe, reliable rubber. It doesn't especially stand out in any one area, but I don't feel it has any weaknesses either. I'd recommend putting it on your backhand.

First, it's marketed for its long lifespan, but I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference there. The sponge is soft, so compared to other spin-oriented tension rubbers, both the spin and the bounce felt a bit lacking. When I moved away from the table, my topspin drives just wouldn't reach... I probably went in with expectations that were too high.

Speed, spin, and control are all top-level. It's a really easy rubber to use. Works fine on both forehand and backhand. The sheet grips well, so brushing spin shots and drives are easy and you get quite a lot of spin. I wish the speed were a bit more, but overall it's at a satisfying level. If you sink the ball into the sponge, you get a decent amount of speed.
The sheet and sponge are softer than Hexer or Hexer HD, and it has no particular quirks, so I think its performance works for everyone.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Balsamic Underrated rubber

I don't think many people have seen reviews of this rubber on overseas sites, so I'll answer with that in mind too.
This rubber's biggest strength is how well it handles backspin. How easy it is to drive backspin balls surpasses Rasant. I think that's because the sheet is hard.
Because of that, the control is a bit lower, but that's probably just a matter of practice.
It matches well with an outer-carbon blade.
Since it seems to be a speed-oriented rubber, it works best with a "fly off the rubber" type blade that you can really hit hard with. I'd recommend it to anyone currently using an outer-carbon blade.
I also tried it with an inner-carbon blade and a 5-ply all-wood blade, and it worked, but the speed drops.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

A Good balance

First, spin comes through well on things like serves and drives. Also, you get a decent amount of speed. The overall balance is good, and I found it very easy to use. I also felt that it lasts quite a long time.

As the title says, I used the custom-order version from Kokusai Takkyu.
The hardness for the normal version was said to be 42.5, but the custom-order one is maybe around 44-45.
The sheet has a glossy look like high-grade leather, and I think the sponge is the kind commonly used in spin-oriented rubbers.
Since I put it on a Wa no Kiwami Ao blade, the speed is held back somewhat, but I still think it's fast.
The big difference from the Rasant series is the hardness of the top sheet.
The grip on the surface is almost the same.
The Hexer series is harder.
Because of that, the ball leaves the rubber faster.
Among those, Hexer Duro is, in a sense, a good match between the sheet hardness and the sponge hardness.
I like it on the harder side, so the custom-order version was just right for me, but rather than for people who like it softer, I felt it's more like a semi-hard rubber, something like an introduction to harder rubbers.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
