  There's not much variation between individual blades.
  Just like the title says, I don't think it suits short pips.
  The quick ball-off-rubber feel that short pips is known for gets lost, and you end up affected by spin more than expected.
  Also, the blade head is large, so watch out for the total weight.
  I had thick rubber on both sides and it came out to 190g. (And the backhand was short pips, too.)
  My friends told me, "That's too heavy to swing. Are you seriously swinging that thing?"
  The grip is also something people will have different opinions on.

  It might be a really good blade, but because it's heavy, I kept smashing the ball too hard when playing over the table, and it doesn't suit short pips, so I decided to switch to a SWAT blade.

  個体差は少ないです。
  タイトル通り表ソフトには合わないと思います。
  表特有の球離れの速さが失われ、予想外に回転の影響を受けます。
  あとブレードが大きいため、総重量には注意してください。
  僕は両面厚で貼っていたのですが190gになってました。(しかもバックは表です。)
  友達からは「重すぎて振れない。こんなの振ってんの？」と言われます。
  グリップも好みが別れる物となっています。

  とても良いラケットかもしれませんが、重い、台上処理するときにガンガンぶつけてしまう、表と合わないため、僕はSWATに代えようと思いました。

  I'd been playing with inverted rubber on both sides for six months, but I struggled with backhand receives, so I switched to short pips.
  I've used a bunch of short pips rubbers - Booster SA, Attack 8, Killer, Spectrum - but the moment I first used this one, it just clicked better than any of the others.
  Blocking, playing against backspin, sidespin, chiquita - everything is easy to do, and it's got this amazing balance of short pips and inverted rubber performance combined.
  Even against a really vicious backspin serve, as long as it's above the net I can hit it like I would with inverted rubber.
  Even on serves where I can't tell if they're going up or down, if I just judge the peak and put a light topspin drive on it, I can receive it with a fast, flat trajectory.
  I'm not scared of backhand receives at all anymore. If anything I'm like "bring your serves to my backhand!"

  People who say "spin-type short pips are basically the same as inverted rubber" just don't get it. They clearly don't know anything about rubbers (´･ω･｀)b

  半年裏裏でやってきましたが、バックでのレシーブが苦手で表に変えました。
  ブースターSA、アタックエイト、キラー、スペクトル、様々な表ソフトを使ってきましたが、初めてこれを使った瞬間、今までの表のどれよりもしっくりきました。
  ブロック、対下、サイドスピン、チキータなど、すべてがやり易く、表と裏の性能を足して割ったような素晴らしさです。
  ぶちギレ下回転でも、ネットより浮けば表のように打てます。
  アップダウンでわからないサーブも、頂点を見極めて軽くドライブ入れすれば、直線ハイスピードでレシーブできます。
  バックへのレシーブが全く恐くなくなりました。むしろバックにサーブ来いっ！って感じですね。

  「回転系表とか裏と同じじゃねーか」という人はセンスないです。ラバーのことを全然知らないにわか野郎ですね(´･ω･｀)b

  KILLER

  

  It's sold in the "variation-type short pips" category, but compared to the Attack Eight (extra thin), which is marketed with the same "attacking variation pips" catchphrase, the overwhelming difference is the speed.
  When you hit through it, it's too fast. The thickness is medium, but you get a "this fast with medium thickness?" kind of dead-straight ball. The range of variation is about the same as the Attack Eight.
  However, maybe because both the pips and the sponge are on the harder side, control is difficult. Because the shots go dead straight, I don't think it'll go in if you're further back than mid-distance. (The package says it's for close-to-mid-distance use.)

  You can also drive with it, and even lifting backspin balls, which tend to become loopy with the Attack Eight, can be returned dead straight with a real "bam."

  [Lastly]
  If you're a general player and this rubber caught your interest, the "Killer" is more than enough.
  The harder "Killer Pro" than this one is, honestly, at a level where I can't imagine who's supposed to use it - I'd guess it's basically unusable for anyone.

  I think this is a monster rubber with the potential to become the ultimate short pips rubber if you put in the practice. It's pricey, but if you're into variation-type rubbers, why not give it a try?

  変化系表というジャンルで売られていますが、「攻撃型変化表」と同じ謳い文句のアタックエイト(極薄)と比較すると、まず圧倒的に違うのはスピードです。
  弾くと速すぎます。厚さは中なのですが、中でこのスピードかよと思える、ド直線の玉が出ます。変化の幅はアタックエイトと同等です。
  ですが、粒もスポンジも硬めのためか、コントロールが難しいです。直球のため、中陣より下がると入らないと思います。(パッケージには前中陣用と書いてあります。)

  ドライブも打てて、アタックエイトではどうしてもループになりがちな下回転の持ち上げも、直線でドーーンと返せます。

  【最後に】
  一般の選手でこのラバーが気になったかたは、「キラー」で十分です。
  これよりも硬い「キラープロ」は、ホント、誰に使ってもらいたいのかわからないレベルで扱えない代物と予想できます。

  練習をつめば最強の表ラバーになることを予感させるモンスターラバーだと思います。高いですが変化系ユーザーは試してみては？

  HEXER DURO

  

  As the title says, I used the custom-order version from Kokusai Takkyu.
  The hardness for the normal version was said to be 42.5, but the custom-order one is maybe around 44-45.
  The sheet has a glossy look like high-grade leather, and I think the sponge is the kind commonly used in spin-oriented rubbers.
  Since I put it on a Wa no Kiwami Ao blade, the speed is held back somewhat, but I still think it's fast.
  The big difference from the Rasant series is the hardness of the top sheet.
  The grip on the surface is almost the same.
  The Hexer series is harder.
  Because of that, the ball leaves the rubber faster.
  Among those, Hexer Duro is, in a sense, a good match between the sheet hardness and the sponge hardness.
  I like it on the harder side, so the custom-order version was just right for me, but rather than for people who like it softer, I felt it's more like a semi-hard rubber, something like an introduction to harder rubbers.

  タイトル通り、国際卓球の特注を使用しました。
  硬度はノーマルが42.5ということでしたが、特注は44～45ぐらいでしょうか。
  シートは高級レザーのような光沢のあるもので、スポンジは回転系によくあるものだと思います。
  和の極み蒼に貼ったことによりスピードは抑えられてしまっていますが、それでも速いと思います。
  ラザントシリーズとの大きな差はトップシートの硬度です。
  表面の引っ掛かりはほぼ変わりません。
  ヘキサーシリーズの方が硬いです。
  ですので球離れが早くなります。
  そのなかでもヘキサーデューロはシートの硬さとスポンジ硬度がある意味マッチしてます。
  僕は硬めが好きなので、特注で丁度でしたが、柔らか目が好きな人というよりも、セミハード、硬め入門みたいなラバーのように感じました。

  Booster SA

  

  I play shakehand with inverted rubber on both sides.
  Since putting this on my backhand, my receive mistakes have dropped dramatically, blocks create chances more easily, and I can even score with backhand smashes now!
  Out of all the rubbers I've tried over the years, this is the one that suits my backhand best.
  In particular, I can return pushes cleanly down the line, and it's easy to curve returns using sidespin pushes against the opponent's backspin serves.
  After practicing with this rubber, switching to Attack 8 felt more stable. It also seems like a good rubber to start with if you're new to short pips.

  裏裏シェークでした。
  これをバックハンドにしてからレシーブミスが激減、ブロックでチャンスメイクしやすく、バックハンドスマッシュでも得点できるように！
  今まで大量のラバーを貼ってきて、一番自分のバックに合っているラバーでした。
  特にツッツキがストレートでキレイに返すことができ、相手の下回転サーブをサイドスピンツッツキで曲げて返すことも容易です。
  このラバーで練習したあと、アタックエイトを使うと安定しました。表ラバーへの入門用としても使えそうなラバーです。
