    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
This rubber is highly valued for its excellent spin performance and stable arc trajectory, but its relatively hard feel makes it selective for players. It suits rally-oriented players who focus on drive techniques, though less ideal for players prioritizing flat hits and offensive power.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Superior spin performance and grip force make serves and drives highly effective
    • High arc minimizes net errors and ensures stable rallies
    • Hard sheet resists opponent's spin well
    • Evaluation varies depending on player skill level and playing style
    • Excellent cost-performance at approximately 3000 yen
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveExceptional grip strength and tremendous spin on drives. The high arc ensures stability, making rallies smooth and perfect for drive exchanges and blocking techniques.
▽ CriticalDespite marketing as a top-level professional rubber, it actually suits intermediate players. Flat drives become linear and lack knockout power. There is a disconnect between promotional claims and actual performance.

Pond (Experience: 11〜20 years) Softer than I expected

      Reviews by user

      Used on the backhand
The grip from the glossy sheet is just as good as you'd expect.
Softer than I expected. Maybe because, compared to the pre-DF version, the sheet grips the ball more?
It might be a bit heavy for how soft it is.
Though I guess that's true of carbon sponges in general.

The softness you feel is about the same as the Omega V Pro, maybe even more.

When you're attacking, you get a powerful arcing shot, but when you're on the defensive, you do feel the opponent's spin quite a bit.

Flick-type shots tend to fly up too high, which makes them hard to control.
I think a slightly harder rubber would be more stable, so I'd recommend the Asia DF to those players.

The sheet is strong so there's no slipping or mishits, but using it on the forehand gives it a somewhat mushy feel that's not great.
As a backhand rubber though, it's excellent.
The chiquita against backspin in particular was really good.

I normally use a hardness of around 47.5,
and I can recommend this to anyone looking for a non-slip rubber for their backhand.

      The spin is insane.
And the arc is high too! So I've had way fewer net misses!
The consistency of my topspin drives is amazing!

Rally lover (Experience: 4〜5 years) The feel on contact is...

      Reviews by user

I borrowed this from a senior teammate. It works great on both forehand and backhand, with insane arc and spin on my topspin drives! That said, the feel was kind of mushy and honestly felt pretty unpleasant to me. Well, that's just a matter of getting used to it and personal preference, so performance-wise I think it'd suit pretty much everyone! By the way, a rubber with a similar feel is Factive.

Shiokara (Experience: 4〜5 years) Spin monster!

      Reviews by user

      Used on the forehand side.
      My impressions:
      - Serves spin really well
      - The topsheet is solid, so loop drives get an amazing amount of spin
      - Easy to handle for its hardness
      - Meet hitting is easy too

It's a rubber that really grabs the ball, so I'd recommend it if you want to overpower opponents with spin.

Digigigas (Experience: 2〜3 years) Doesn't slip at all!

      Reviews by user

Using max thickness on the backhand side.
Hit it lightly and it bounces quite a bit, but when you drive it, the ball sinks in really well and you can put your own spin on it properly, which is great. It has the stability to land the ball reliably from just about anywhere. Also, thanks to the grip, even players who lack confidence on the third-ball attack can attack with confidence.
That said, if you hit it half-heartedly, it's easy to get overpowered by your opponent's spin and the ball drops or flies off. It's a rubber that lands reliably as long as you hit it with confidence, so give it a try.

Hayashi Takato mental (Experience: 4〜5 years) This is insane lol

      Reviews by user

This is seriously a godly rubber.
It really has that ball-holding feel. Put it on a wood blade and the stability is outstanding. Put it on a carbon blade and you get really high-quality drives.
I thought the topsheet was just great overall.
