TSP Curl P2 is now back in our collection since many European top players favoured this unique long pimple rubber (about 1,8mm long) with wide pimples. It is ideal for those who not only want to defend but also want better block and counter possibilities.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The racket is praised for its versatility in both offense and defense, while its lack of speed is noted as a limitation. It is positioned as an intermediate-level rubber for heterodox players, particularly favored by cut-main and blocking players due to its excellent spin variation and change characteristics.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent control performance and ease of use
    • Superior cut and block with great spin variation
    • Less speed compared to other offensive rubbers
    • Well-suited for heterodox players in both offense and defense
    • Grain-like characteristics make it difficult for opponents to handle
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveIt can be used effectively for both attack and cut. The stable push attack and cutting return are well-balanced, making it the most versatile rubber in the Curl series.
▽ CriticalFrom high school level onwards, it becomes ineffective against opponents and difficult to receive their attacks, resulting in insufficient speed performance.

I could use it both for attacking and for chopping.
For attacking, my pushes were stable,
and for chopping, I could stay stable while still cutting the ball back.
Among the Curl-series rubbers, I thought this was the most all-around one.

Power snail (Experience: 2〜3 years) Control and knuckle balls are its charm

      Reviews by user

I used this on my backhand. Control is really easy. You get a decent amount of speed with pushes, but you shouldn't expect much speed overall. It's a variation-type short pips rubber, but it plays more like long pips. Chop blocks, chops, and pushes are all very easy to do. Personally, I'd recommend it to beginners who struggle with their backhand. As you get better, you start feeling the lack of speed, but it's good enough to win with through middle school. From high school on, it won't be effective against opponents and it's hard to handle their attacks, so I wouldn't really recommend putting P2 on once you're in high school.

Right shake front and back heterogeneous front team haste type (Experience: Less than a year) New to pips

      Reviews by user

The pips really let you feel their texture on blocks. When you take a spinny smash, it bites really well. It also grabs decently on other pushes, which opponents don't like.

I used it for chopping. The control was really good, and the trajectory of my chops was nice and straight.

All rounder (Experience: 2〜3 years) Can do a lot

      Reviews by user

This is closer to long pips than short pips. If you dampen your drives, you can block really well with it. Chopping bites well and is extremely stable. You can attack with it too, but it falls short compared to other short pips rubbers. Once you get used to it, you can use it just like any other short pips rubber. The variation is huge, so it's easy to produce nasty, hard-to-return balls. I think it's a good choice for blockers or choppers who want to attack from the backhand.

Fluffy (Experience: 11〜20 years) With the large ball...

      Reviews by user

It's a short-pips type rubber, so it can be used with large balls.
The variation on shots is huge, and the ball loses speed a lot, so shots I thought were going to sail long often ended up landing right at the edge of the opponent's court.
I'd recommend this for large-ball chopping players and anyone who leans heavily on defense.

curl (Experience: 2〜3 years) Short pips, but pips are pips

      Reviews by user

I think this suits unorthodox-style players who want to block and push but also want to attack.
That said, it's naturally a step below other short pips like V101 or Donackle.
If you still want to attack with it, I'd recommend thin on a bouncy blade and medium on a low-bounce blade.
I tried both thin and medium on my Firefall FC, and with thin it barely bounces at all.
