Great value for money and excellent control.
It's well suited for learning the basics one by one, making it perfect as your first rubber, but once you've got the basics down it starts to feel a bit lacking.
Once this rubber starts feeling insufficient, I think switching to something like Mark V or Ventus Limber would be a good move.
I believe it might be discontinued now, but I'd recommend it to anyone just starting out in table tennis.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Flick: ☆ ☆Good rubber to start with. Control is especially easy, and it flies pretty well, so it's easy for anyone to use. It's a rubber where you can clearly tell the difference between just meeting the ball and brushing it. That said, unlike something like Tenergy, it doesn't put spin on the ball automatically — you have to swing properly to get spin. So I think it's perfect for building your form or for people just starting out in table tennis.

It gets a decent amount of spin. The bounce isn't huge, but that makes it easier to control, so I'd recommend it for people who just started playing table tennis.

An ideal rubber for a first or second rubber for a junior high club player or a fairly serious youth-club player.
It could almost be classified as a light tension rubber, and I think its performance exceeds its price.
Comparing Gambit medium thickness to Ventus Basic (VB) thick, personally I felt the bounce, spin, and speed were all better than the VB.The fact that VICTAS discontinued it is probably partly about sales volume, but the performance is good enough that I suspect the cost and retail price just weren't well balanced.
It was released relatively recently, in 2017, but I think it got buried under the tension-rubber trend, and the VB was easier to keep around since it's part of the Ventus series - but it's a shame that a rubber like this gets discontinued. It's like an A-side single that was a hit thanks to a tie-in coupling song, but still got buried by the times.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used this on the forehand of a Wang Liqin FL. I bought the medium thickness, and I thought it suited chopping well.
