I used the medium thickness on my backhand. Personally, the best part was that knuckle chops flew slowly, and being a truly no-spin knuckle ball, it made opponents overshoot. My pushes don't have a ton of spin, but they stay low, so I don't think they get smashed as easily.

This is what you'd call a half-pips rubber.
It lets you play backhand shots that are hard to do with long pips.
It doesn't cut the ball as much as long pips, but you can still do chop blocks like with long pips.

Past a certain level, you can't win just by blocking with long pips — you have to start attacking, but attacking with long pips is hard.

With this rubber, mistakes drop dramatically.

A thicker sponge makes it play more like short pips, while a thinner sponge makes it play more like long pips.

Easy to use is its main feature.

Looked at as a short pips rubber, the ball that comes back has quite a bit of quirk to it.
Looked at as long pips, it surprisingly has real speed and comes back with spin on it.
So in that sense, it doesn't have the extreme traits you'd get from a dedicated variation short pips or long pips rubber,
but it's more like a rubber that keeps a bit of each of their characteristics while making them easier to handle.

Used for chopping, the trajectory comes out fairly flat and straight.
You don't feel much of that typical long-pips variation,
but controlling how much cut you put on the ball was easy.

I'm a chopper and use this on my backhand.
If you play it like short pips, it works like short pips; if you play it like long pips, it works like long pips.
Chopping control is outstanding.
You can attack on the backhand right off a receive, and a backhand smash after grinding it out with chops has plenty of power too!
Blocking is easy too!
If you hit it with the image of really gripping the ball, it goes exactly where you want.
Definitely give it a try.

Used with penhold long pips - it's perfect for junk/variation attacks. Great for defense too.

My playing style is mainly attacking with topspin drives, while sometimes flipping to the variation-type short pips side to create chances.
The great thing about this rubber is that it's very easy to control, and it's technically versatile over the table - you can stop, brush, use knuckle balls and spin, tiny drives, all in every direction.

Also, just like the catchphrase says, you can do short-pips-style crisp attacking hits too.
(I use the thick version, and my inverted rubber is a V>15!)
It also says something like "anyone can use it," but personally I felt it's a rubber that assumes you already have experience with short pips - beginners can use it at a beginner's level, and intermediate-to-advanced players can use it at their own level.

It's really easy to use, but that doesn't mean it's meant for beginners! That said, I don't think it's a good match for people whose only goal is to induce mistakes from the opponent, or people looking for meaty hits and smashes on the level of a tension-type short pips rubber.
It's ultimately for chance-making plus a little extra.

I think this will click with anyone, regardless of level, who plays the style of creating chances on offense with variation-type short pips and then finishing the point with inverted rubber.
Just one thing to watch out for: if you let a knuckle-type serve hit the rubber and try to push it, the ball will pop up!
