It feels super hard to the touch... but the actual feel when hitting is just a bit on the hard side. It wasn't as rock-hard as I imagined, so I think players coming from a harder tension rubber or a tacky rubber like Hurricane could switch over without much trouble.
It works well whether you brush the ball or really sink it into the rubber and hit through it, so I think it's also a good rubber for a third-ball-attack style of play. That said, loop drives are tough without some arm strength.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Just looking at the hardness rating, you'd think it's an extremely hard rubber, but personally it didn't feel that hard to me.
But like a tacky rubber, if you hit with a half-hearted swing, the ball turns into a straight ball with no spin and either falls short into the net or turns into a weird overshoot miss.
The sheet is thick, so if you really sink the ball in and hit properly, you get quite a lot of spin.
The control performance changes a lot depending on how you hit.
Personally, I find this easier to use than the V47.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I used this on my forehand. The spin on topspin drives is strong, and even with the Ultramax version you can play short stops well. But it felt like it gradually got softer the more I used it. The bounce is high, but even a junior high school student could handle it.

The quality of light hits from mid-distance is great.
The max spin isn't that high, but it raises your overall level.
It's soft for a 50-degree hardness.
You can hit stable topspin drives from mid-distance too. Underspin balls often don't get lifted enough and end up in the net (≈ similar to a tacky rubber trait).
On the backhand, the trajectory is too low and flat, and the ball flies out too fast.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I've really been debating whether to get this lately. The performance is genuinely high. I've had my eye on it for a while, but I was using tacky rubber which was better for me. Lately though, tacky just hasn't been cutting it anymore... I like hard rubbers and had been longing for this one. Right when I was thinking that, of all things, a friend of mine turned out to be using it. Whoa, so I tried hitting with it right away, and it turned out to be a perfect fit. The spin is about on par with tacky rubber, it bounces quite a bit, and you can also sink the ball into the sponge and hit with it. You can pull off great shots whether you're close to the table, mid-distance, or away from the table. Heavy, clean balls. I really don't know what to do now, haha.

This rubber spins well, but the sponge is as hard as a tacky rubber. Also, the Ultramax version is fairly heavy, so I'd recommend it for players with strong strokes. It's also more suited to advanced players. Beginners might end up with more overshoot misses, so I'd recommend it for advanced players who already have a certain level of skill.

I used this on my forehand.
It's heavy and hard, no question.
The spin really grabs well. The speed comes out pretty nicely too.
