Your profile is spin driven. Variable all distance play is your formula for success.

As a mid to advanced level player you prefer the soft 37° sponge for allowing precise active topspin play and control.

Spin is key – and you will be inspired by the extremely curved trajectory your topspin will describe even at moderate stroke speed.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly praised for its soft sponge and excellent control performance, the R37 is widely supported by beginners to intermediate players. With performance comparable to Tenergy 64 at a more affordable price, and many reviews recommending its use on the backhand, it has become a popular choice.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Soft sponge provides excellent control and ease of use
    • Defensive techniques like backhand drives and blocks are stable
    • Produces more speed than expected with good spin generation
    • Great value compared to Tenergy at a lower price point
    • Versatile all-around rubber suitable for beginners to intermediate players
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe soft sponge makes it easy to control, and it produces more speed than expected. Recommended for the backhand, helping players learn blocking techniques. Delivers Tenergy-comparable performance at an affordable price.
▽ CriticalHighly susceptible to the opponent's spin, and some advanced players find it too soft. The price of 4,600 yen is also a drawback.

Unlike the previous Rasant Beat, which was just soft, this one has a hardness that's easier to handle (it has some backbone to it). Most techniques felt stable with it.

This rubber suits an all-rounder who isn't a hardcore topspin drive type. Serves and loop drives are both easy to do and stable.

Relaxing intermediate level (Experience: 6〜10 years) Reliable for drives

      Reviews by user

I'm currently using the 2mm thickness on my backhand. Since it's soft, backhand topspin drives are easy to hit, and the trajectory arcs nicely. That said, the trajectory was lower than I expected. When I lent it to a junior high schooler nearby (round of 16 at the city tournament), it was well-received on the backhand too, as expected. A high schooler at a similar level (about the 5th round of the city tournament) said it was too soft, though.

Lightness life (Experience: 6〜10 years) The best rubber for serving

      Reviews by user

      I have a mild disability,
      so to settle matches quickly,
      I play a serve-focused style.
I'd been playing with Rasant Beat up until now,
so I'll review this in comparison to Rasant Beat.
First, on spin—no question, this grips the ball more than Rasant Beat.
Next, it's easy to produce no-spin knuckle serves that set up a third-ball attack.
I went with the Ultra Max thickness, so I was worried about control,
but even at max thickness, it's easy to control.
I've used 21 different rubbers up to now, and I've finally arrived at the ultimate rubber.

I changed it from razzant beat (Experience: 4〜5 years) A liiittle hard?

      Reviews by user

I switched over from Rasant Beat. This is on the backhand side of a Chinese-penhold blade.
Maybe it's just me, but it feels a little harder.
If you go in expecting it to be almost the same as Rasant Beat, you'll be surprised.
It also bounces more now, so control drops a bit.
Overall though, I think the performance is high.

It has high spin and stability, so I think it suits defensive play. If you want to attack with it, I think the backhand is the way to go.
