I used this on my forehand side. It grips the ball well, so lifting backspin is pretty easy. Both serves and drives benefit from the strong sheet, so if you brush the ball, you get good spin.
As for speed, the sponge is a bit on the hard side, so if you can get the ball to sink in, the speed really comes through. For beginners, kids, or people without much physical strength, I'd recommend the "S" sponge. Overall it's a well-balanced, good rubber. A similar rubber would be TSP's Legalis Blue. Great value for money, on the lighter side, and I think it works well on both forehand and backhand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The Mantra comes in three types, S, M, and H, and I went with M this time
Before hitting with it I imagined it would feel like the 64, but once I hit it, that wasn't quite right
Well, of course
To be precise, it does feel similar
It's like the 64 with the speed toned down, the spin kept the same, and the arc lowered a little
To sum up: an easier-to-use, watered-down version of the 64
What it has going for it is that you can choose the softness

I tried it because it had a good reputation online.
There's nothing particularly standout about its performance — it's a safe, easy-to-use rubber — and while its max performance isn't that high, the value for money is quite good.
It doesn't slip, but the sheet's spin performance isn't that high either. You get better shots by hitting it more flat-on than brushing it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I'm using the Mantra M, and
the sheet itself doesn't grip the ball that much, so it tends to slip.
If you let the ball sink in all the way to the sponge, it puts on quite a bit of spin. The speed is pretty good too. Hits and counters are easy to do, but I wouldn't recommend it for people who just brush the sheet without sinking the ball in.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The moment I used this rubber, I was convinced it would sell well lol
These days, rubber prices in the table tennis world keep climbing, and you don't see many rubbers under ¥4000 anymore.
Even when you do find one, honestly it's usually just performance that matches the price, nothing more.
And then, out of nowhere, this Mantra series showed up.
I test-hit all three, H, M, and S, and M felt the best to me.
Just the right hardness, easy to put spin on, good control — there wasn't really anything that felt hard to do overall.
Especially when it comes to putting on spin, it goes in so reliably that you could almost say if you spin it, it lands lol
The downside might be that it flies a bit too well, making blocking a little tricky.
Other than that there wasn't really anything difficult, so I'd recommend it for attack-oriented players!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Mantra S was good, so I tried Mantra M too. Compared to the S, the feel is a bit harder and the ball releases faster.
The speed and spin are about the same. I found blocking harder with the M than with the S (harder to stop the opponent's power shots).
That said, for the price, I think the Mantra series performs really well. I used a Houou blade this time, and it felt like even the blade's performance went up. Before, I was using Seifuku for control, and switching to this rubber did make control a bit harder, but combined with the Houou's quick ball release and the Mantra M's quick ball release, I got a pace almost like a short-pips rubber. In other words, I can play a versatile style of table tennis with good quick attacks, good drives, and a good feel — it's fun. I'd really recommend the Houou and Mantra M combination!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
