      I'm using it in a way that's the opposite of what you'd expect from a so-called "super-fast" racket.

      It's soft, so it bites into the ball. Because it leaves the racket the moment it bites in, it generates speed but no arc.

      It makes a nice sound with outer carbon or hardwood rackets. It's a "clink-clink" sound.

      Compared to modern tension rubbers, it doesn't generate much spin. So, opponents often hit it into the net or overshoot the table, which makes for an interesting contrast.
