I'd used organic solvent-based booster on Spectrum on my backhand before, playing an inverted forehand / short pips backhand style.
I tried a third-ball flat hit off a backspin serve right away and the ball just flew and flew!
This is great!
What surprised me - maybe partly thanks to the blade too - is that with a soft touch it doesn't bounce much, but hit it hard and it really takes off. Since it's a tension-type short pips, the sponge has a moderate hardness: it barely bounces unless the ball sinks in, and once it does, it springs back with real rebound. Back when I used organic boosters, I could still play from further back, but the ball would fly so much that receives tended to float on pushes. With Booster EV though, you can still do soft-touch stops easily, which left a really good impression!
If you can master it, I think this rubber has real scoring power.
Since it doesn't produce much of an arc, flat hits do need a bit of practice, but once you get the knack, you have the versatility to smack any ball with a flat hit! If you're curious, definitely give it a try!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I put this on the Aqua Blade, a blade that's hard but doesn't fly much, which makes it ideal for penhold short pips speed attack style.
Control is so-so.
You get a decent amount of knuckle balls.
Hitting flat gives you that typical straight-line trajectory you'd expect from short pips.
It's also easy to add sidespin on short pushes.
My one complaint is that it flies fast but carries too far — it doesn't lose much speed after bouncing on the opponent's side. Because of that, opponents seem to find it easy to return.
Also, on angled sideways receives, it's hard to keep any spin left on the ball.
Maybe because the sponge is harder than Moristo SP, when I hit with it there's less of that quirky short-pips ball movement. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'm still a beginner and don't know a lot about rubbers, but even I could tell how fast this ball is!
That said, it has weaknesses like being sensitive to humidity and having lower spin performance, but I'm sure a skilled player could use it just fine! All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I've gone through a fair number of different short pips rubbers, and personally this was the best one for me! With other short pips, a bit of spin would end up getting on the ball, which killed the knuckleball effect unique to short pips, but I felt like this one packs in all the good points of short pips. Even I, the one hitting it, drop the ball a lot, but the effect on the opponent is huge — if you can master it, it's really nasty (in a good way)! Speed-wise, it's the fastest short pips rubber I've tried! That said, I don't think you can bring out its short-pips character unless you understand how to play with short pips. It's not suited for people who want to add spin with short pips. If anyone out there is looking for that true short-pips feel, please give it a try! It's really good!

This is a fast, speed-oriented tension short pips rubber. If you're used to short pips, I'm sure you'll find it's a strong rubber. It generates quite a bit of speed, so you can pierce through with one straight shot. I normally use inverted rubber, so it felt slippery and hard to use for me — I don't think you can bring out its performance unless you've mastered the short-pips hitting style.

It's really easy to use
Even though it's short pips, you can hit it almost like inverted rubber, and the speed is plenty good too
When you block, the ball that comes back acts like it came off a pips rubber, so opponents have a hard time returning it
That said, it can fly a bit too much and go long sometimesAll Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This was the first short pips rubber I ever used, about two years into playing table tennis.
I decided to put a short pips rubber on my forehand chasing speed, and used this one.
It lived up to my expectations beautifully - the speed on this rubber was fantastic.
I was a junior high schooler at the time, but I managed to beat a fairly skilled high schooler with this rubber. The main reason I won was, without a doubt, the speed of the ball. My opponent was surprised at how fast it was too.The ball is genuinely so fast that you can finish points one after another with single decisive hits.
Spin doesn't build up much and control is tough, but I'd recommend it to anyone who prioritizes speed.
Out of all the short pips rubbers I've used, this is my favorite.
