It has a strange feel, sort of hard and sort of soft at the same time.
Speed and spin are both decent, but the feel on contact never quite clicks with me.
Like other reviews here mention, the rubber has its own quirks, so it takes a bit of effort to get used to.
Given the price, I think it's a good deal, but I still feel the Vega series is better.
If you're going with a Yasaka tension rubber, you can't go wrong with the Rakza series.

Used on the backhand.
This Extend GP seems to get a lot of reviews saying it's hard, but junior high schoolers and high schoolers with a weaker swing can still use it. Compared to Fastarc or Tenergy, it's much softer.
This rubber is positioned as a speed-type tension rubber, but that doesn't mean it doesn't spin — if you swing fast and have a feel for brushing the ball, you can get plenty of spin on it.
It flies with light effort, so it might actually suit people without much power.
Both meeting the ball and driving are easy, making it ideal for pushing your opponent around while playing close to the table.
That said, people who have a habit of swinging with a lot of force run a big risk of the ball flying out of control.

Up until now I'd only used Butterfly rubbers, so this was my first time trying a Yasaka rubber, the Extend GP.

The rubber is soft. My first impression when I hit with it was, "this really bounces!" Compared to Butterfly rubbers, it bounces more than Rundle but less than Rozena.

Rundle has good stability but lacked power. Extend GP, on the other hand, is a rubber that gives you power on top of stability — basically Rundle with power added.

The trajectory felt flat and linear, like a speed-oriented rubber. If you step in and commit to the shot, you can hit a powerful drive. That said, compared to Rozena the power still falls short.

Also, Extend GP is a rubber with some quirks. It felt a little tricky to handle. So it might not suit beginners. I'd recommend it for intermediate players. Advanced players might find the power a bit lacking.

Still, you can get it online for around 3,000 yen, and I think that's good performance for the price. I'd recommend it to intermediate players looking for a good rubber at a lower price.

A friend I practice with a lot bought this and let me hit with it.

I've hit with every rubber in the Extend series, so this impression takes that into account.

First, it feels soft to the touch. The sponge is also the fine-bubble type you see in speed-oriented tension rubbers.

As for how it actually felt to hit with, honestly there's almost no difference in ball speed off the rubber compared to spin-oriented tension rubbers.
Maybe when you sink the ball in deep it kicks back slightly harder — that's about the only difference.
The sense of speed is stronger with Extend HS, but I'd say this one has the most spin in the series.

It's not a hard rubber, but the short game doesn't bounce as much as you'd expect, so I think it's a well-balanced rubber that can do a bit of everything.
Hard hitters on the forehand might find it lacking, but I don't think anyone would find it hard to use.
A similar rubber would be andro's Plaxon series, which felt close to this.
Personally, I feel like this would be a good rubber for the reverse side of a Chinese penhold blade.

This was really a great rubber.
It feels soft when you touch it, but when you actually hit with it, it's not that soft.
It's quite slippery, so you'll need to do something about that.
It's a new product, so why not give it a try...?
