Both the rubber and sponge let the ball sink in easily and stay stable. Compared to Hexer Grip it's harder to control, but it makes up for that with more speed, so it's a good rubber. Whether you brush it thin or sink it in deep, you can get a lot of spin on the ball, so I think it works on both forehand and backhand.

I used this on the backhand of a Chinese penhold blade.
The distance and speed are pretty average compared to today's high-performance rubbers, but
the grip on the ball
the ball-holding feel
the control
and the spin performance
are all really good for the price.Because of how good those qualities are, I don't think this rubber cares much which stroke you use for topspin drives, but it really shows its best side when you hit by really letting the ball "sink in deep" and then grabbing it. You get a genuinely good ball that doesn't feel like it should be possible from a rubber in the 4,000 yen range.
When you hit softly it doesn't fly too far, so the short game is easy to control, and when you hit hard, the rubber responds in kind.I'd really recommend this rubber to anyone whose main weapon is a spin-focused topspin drive.
I can especially recommend it for both sides for junior high/high schoolers who already have solid fundamentals and can transfer impact into the ball, or
for the backhand of players who value impact along with control and grip.
It's a good rubber, so as long as you don't expect too much, it should be something a junior high/high schooler with solid fundamentals can keep using for a long time.One thing to watch for in your blade choice: I don't think this suits a blade that's too soft. Since the rubber itself has such good ball-holding feel, it pairs well with a blade that lets the ball go at a reasonable rate. It seems like it would suit an inner-fiber blade or a 7-ply wood blade.

True to its name, the Hexer Grip really has amazing grip on the ball...!!
You can really feel that "grabbing and hitting" sensation coming through, and it feels great.
I like soft rubbers and was looking for something affordable, so this was perfect for me!

Just like the title says.
You can play every shot consistently.
The depth on topspin drives is a touch on the shallow side.
It feels less like a rubber for blasting through opponents and more built around rallying.
This suits junior high to high school players.

I put this on the forehand side of my reverse penhold blade.
The grip on the ball during topspin drives is excellent!

This rubber is unbelievably easy to use, and the reason is definitely how easy it makes topspin drives. It really stands out on techniques like loop drives, speed drives, and hitting against backspin, giving you an arc just as stable as the Tenergy series. Even on spin-heavy techniques like the snake shot, both the spin and how easily it grabs the ball are outstanding. I've never seen anyone regret buying this.

I borrowed a friend's and hit with it.
When you really let the ball sink deep into the sheet as you hit, you can get a ton of spin on every shot.
The push especially — if you let the ball sink in while jabbing it in like a short-pips push, you can get spin that's basically impossible for the opponent to lift.
Because the spin ability is so high, the bounce is a bit more subdued, but with its strong grip and arc, your shots stay quite consistent.
I'd recommend this to anyone who wants more consistency than the Rasanter R48, or anyone looking to step up from a high-bounce or beginner-level tension rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
