    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as a cost-effective tension rubber for beginners and intermediate players, featuring outstanding spin and grip strength in its price range. While praised for stability by rotation-conscious players, some note its short lifespan and limited top speed performance.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Exceptional grip force and spin performance that outperforms competitors
    • High stability in backspin drives and board play, ideal for intermediates
    • Well-positioned as stepping stone from Lazanta and Rozena rubbers
    • Short durability and vulnerability to humidity issues
    • Speed is easy to generate but maximum output is limited
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe best rubber in this price range. Spin and grip strength are superior to others. Compared to same-priced Rozena and Vega series, grip force stands out distinctly. No notable weaknesses found.
▽ CriticalLifespan is only about one month, and its soft nature may cause power loss for strong players. The sheet is vulnerable to humidity, making spin difficult to apply.

Kaborn (Experience: Less than a year) Good rubber!

      Reviews by user

Borrowed a friend's and tried it out.
Backhand drives were easy to do.
It's also nice that colored rubber options are available.

Masamune (Experience: 6〜10 years) Leads to a more stable game

      Reviews by user

The hardness, bounce, and spin are all at a high level and feel great.
In particular, the sense of holding onto the ball really caught my eye.
I'd recommend this to anyone who values the exhilarating feel of driving and an overall good balance.

This is a European rubber. Being from andro, when you compare its drives to Vega X, the ball comes off in a slightly odd way. You get a real sense of grabbing the ball before it launches, so if you want to stabilize your loops against backspin, I think this is actually better than a high-end rubber. There's really no technique it can't handle, so I'd call it one of the best value-for-money rubbers out there. I think it pairs well with an all-wood blade. Even with an outer carbon blade, it won't fly off the table on short balls.

It's cheap and has decent performance.
The sheet is weak against humidity, so sometimes it doesn't grip the ball well enough for spin.

Talk (Experience: 4〜5 years) The dominant rubber in the ¥3,000 range

      Reviews by user

I used the 1.9mm on both forehand and backhand.

Personally, I'd place it as a step up from Vega Europe.

When you really sink the ball into it, you can get shots that punch right through. The sheet is strong, so it holds up fine even when you brush the ball.
The amount of spin on loops, and how easy they are to produce, are both great.
The grip is strong, so you get good stability when looping against backspin.

A lot of beginners spend around 5,000 yen on something like a XX Rubber or XX Soft, but if you're looking at that hardness range, I'd really like you to try Hexer as well.

RPGs Best value for money, a mass of stability

      Reviews by user

True to its "Grip" name, the confidence it gives you when looping against backspin is incredible.
As long as your swing isn't off, pretty much any loop goes in.
The speed is about average for a tension rubber in this price range.
There's nothing in the short game that's particularly hard to do, and I can't really point to a weakness.
It's not suited for a style of play built around firing off drives one after another from away from the table, but it has outstanding consistency, so I can confidently recommend it to intermediate players. Personally, it's the best value-for-money rubber out there.
Another plus is that if you ever want more power, you can move up to Power Grip without any awkward adjustment.
Even factoring in its somewhat short lifespan, this is my top pick in this price and hardness range.

Yamanaka Valley (Experience: 4〜5 years) Just so easy to use

      Reviews by user

I'm a chopper, and this rubber grips the ball really well — I can return even powerful shots without much trouble. It's also easy to smash and drive with. Since it's not too expensive, I'd recommend it for middle and high school students too.
