Yuki @ (Experience: 6〜10 years) Good third rubber for beginners

Bought it on the shop clerk's recommendation, but it didn't have as much bounce as I expected. Players with a lot of power might end up losing power using this.
I think it's good for beginner-to-intermediate players who want to try a tension rubber. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Among rubbers in the same price range, this one grips the ball for spin by far the most. The topsheet grips the ball incredibly well, but the sponge is on the softer side, so if you let the ball sink in, you can produce powerful shots with a stable arc.

sand (Experience: 4〜5 years) Feels a bit similar to the Vega series

Borrowed one from a friend named Mac-fan and gave it a test hit.
Just my personal opinion, but in a word...
On the backhand, the short game is excellent. I'd recommend it to close-to-the-table players. Of course mid-distance players can use it fine too.
On the forehand, it's similar to Vega Pro or Vega Japan. Topspin drives land cleanly on the table, and attacks from mid-distance come in nicely too. The short game is reasonably easy to handle, and pretty much anyone can use it well. It's an all-around type rubber.
So overall it feels like high performance for the price. That's the part that reminded me of the Vega series.
I think it would pair well with something like the Swat series or Ratica series blades.
A pure wood blade would probably suit it better.
Please just take this as a rough reference, though! All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

pain (Experience: 2〜3 years) Excellent stability

Using this on my backhand. The hardness is just right, and everything is stable - backhand blocks, topspin drives, and the short game including chiquita, as well as playing against backspin. However, after about two and a half months, the topsheet starts to get slick, and once that happens the stability disappears. It's too soft for the forehand, so I think backhand use is the way to go.

Ponko (Experience: 6〜10 years) My elementary-school daughter uses it

My daughter is in elementary school and has been playing table tennis for about two years. She struggles with her backhand, so we were looking for an easy-to-use rubber with good grip on the ball, and this one was recommended to us. (Using the thick version.)
The very first day my younger daughter used it, her pushes became stable (and sharp), and her backhand topspin drive especially went in consistently with insane spin! Amazing. If you swing through it goes in solidly, and the grip on the ball is great. Even my elementary-school daughter could tell the difference from the rubber she used before - that's how easy it is to use.
I tried it myself too, and yeah, it really grips the ball.
If you're struggling with your backhand, this is a rubber I'd recommend trying. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

(Experience: 2〜3 years) Works for both forehand and backhand.

On my backhand I use Transformer Extra Slow. It's an unorthodox rubber for the reverse-penhold spin-loop style.
The forehand is usable despite being soft.
The ball stays on the rubber a long time, making it easy to aim your shots.
On the backhand, even when you angle the blade quite downward,
the ball still lifts up.
It's super easy to use, and if you get the Wrm version, it's fairly cheap, so I recommend it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I switched from VICTAS's V15 Extra out of curiosity. Just so you know, I'll end up comparing it to the Extra in places. The Extra had a fairly soft feel, but Hexer is fairly hard, so the same hitting style I used with the Extra was a bit difficult here. That said, I think it suits people who brush and drag the ball across the rubber for their drives rather than sinking it in. Meet shots are easy to hit. When I stepped back away from the table, I felt it lacked a bit of extension. I think it would be good to recommend this to intermediate players.
