On drives, unless you sink the ball into the sponge rather than just brushing it, it's hard to get spin.
So it might be a bit of a tricky rubber for people who are good at brushing the ball.
Because the rubber is hard, unless you're really conscious about sinking the ball in, you'll sometimes drop shots against a sharp backspin ball (losing the spin battle).
Despite that, the arc traces a path like a tacky rubber, so if you're not careful with your racket angle, you'll sail long.
Up to this point it probably sounds mostly negative, but the short game over the table and serves are easy to do.
I think it clicks best if you treat it like a tension rubber when attacking with drives, and like a tacky rubber for the short game and serves.
Switching over from a tacky rubber like Hurricane is probably best avoided, since the feel is just too different.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

It's a tacky rubber, but it's one that requires the skill of sinking the ball into the sponge.
The rubber is on the harder side, so it's quite tough to use.
I play by brushing the ball on drives and sinking it in on chops,
so drives were extremely difficult for me.
However, on chops and counters, I could use the opponent's power to a good degree and produce a solid ball.
Since the rubber is hard, I think a special-material blade is going to be tough to pair it with.
I'd recommend a softer 5-ply all-wood blade instead.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is basically a rubber that muscles through with spin, plain and simple. Chops bite way harder than with Tenergy 05! The amount of spin is huge. That's tacky rubber for you — personally I think Rasant Power Grip is the tension rubber with the most spin out there, but this one is every bit a match for it. Even on offense, it wins with spin rather than speed, so if you want to overpower opponents with spin, I highly recommend this one!

This is what's called a "tacky-tension" rubber. I myself got influenced by Gutti and tried out a bunch of tacky rubbers, but in the end I went back to tension rubbers lol.
That said, out of all the tacky rubbers I've tried, this one was the closest to a tension rubber!
If you hit it thinking it's a tacky rubber, it bounces way more than you'd expect, and if you hit it thinking it's a tension rubber, the amount of spin is crazy lol.
Put simply, it feels like a Tenergy 05 with the bounce toned down and the spin performance maxed out.
The chop and other defensive techniques are excellent, and it's got bounce when you're attacking too, so if you're not put off by tacky or semi-tacky rubbers, this one delivers high performance — I'd recommend it!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I thought it might feel like a tacky rubber, but surprisingly it felt completely natural to use, which left a really good impression. That said, I do feel the speed is a bit lacking. It was thick, so I feel like max thickness would work well too. The tricky part is the drive. This is true for Tenergy 25 as well, but unless you really commit to a solid impact, you won't get speed or spin. As long as you're careful about that, it's not a rubber you can't handle, so I didn't get the impression that it's hard to use or wishy-washy. I can't recommend it to everyone, but for the right player, I think it can become a really good rubber. The arc has a tacky-rubber feel to it, so that's something to watch out for too.

Compared to Tenergy 05, the spin increases but the speed feels like it drops quite a bit. Also, it has a sound and feel on contact like Chinese rubber, but it seems like you get more spin by really sinking the ball into the sponge. If anything, it's closer to a tension rubber. So if you switch to this from Hurricane, I think it'll feel pretty different.

This is a rubber that's in-between in a good way.
It's not as hard as Chinese tacky rubber, but harder than a typical high-tension rubber.
It's faster than Chinese tacky rubber but slower than a typical high-tension rubber.
It doesn't grip the ball as much as Chinese tacky rubber, but it grips more than a typical high-tension rubber.
It's easier to handle than Chinese tacky rubber,
and the ball doesn't sink into the sponge as much as with high-tension rubber, but it still sinks in a fair amount.
Back when speed glue was allowed, I used to use Chinese tacky rubber on my forehand, but since glue got banned I've been a big fan of Spin Art.
It's easier to handle and generates power more easily than Chinese tacky rubber, so as a tacky rubber it feels a bit lacking in character.
But in a good way it's in-between and well balanced, and there's really nothing about it that leaves me unsatisfied when I use it.
If you're an attacking player who wants to use a tacky rubber, I think it's a good idea to try Spin Art first, and if you feel like you want something harder, switch over to a Chinese tacky rubber.All Speed Spin Control
