It has a bit of tackiness, and even though it's a tension rubber, the short game was really easy to play. Just like its reputation, pushes have good spin, and chiquitas go up nicely and land stable.
And I think this rubber's biggest weapon is hitting against backspin! Even against a well-spun push, you can lift it up easily. I'm not really great at topspin drives myself, but with this rubber I feel like I could pull one off even in a tense moment in a match, lol.
Just like Nittaku describes it, I think it's perfect for beginner to intermediate players whose rallies usually end by the fourth ball!
I'd also highly recommend it for choppers! Since it's tacky, pushes go in low, and chops get a reasonable amount of distance too, making it easy to add variation.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's soft. What was that 50-degree rating even about? The grip on the ball is outstanding, so if you swing all the way through, you can get a lot of power.

If you focus on generating spin, topspin rallies and the short game come in stable too. Players like the one nicknamed Goblin have a hitting style where they smash right into the ball, so I think that's why the ball didn't drop much for them. It's not heavy. As for hitting hard, if you focus on generating spin while hitting the ball fairly far forward, you can produce sharp shots. What sets it apart from other rubbers is that it's pretty hard to miss with. If you can use it well, it opens up a pretty wide range of play.

Since it's rated at 50 degrees, I expected it to be hard, but it wasn't hard at all - it felt just right. It's a tacky tension rubber leaning toward the Chinese rubber style. Surprisingly, it reminded me a lot of Spinart.

Being a tacky tension rubber, it was easy to use. There wasn't really anything that felt off, which was nice. But if you're going to use it, I'd recommend the backhand. It was especially strong for the short game. On the forehand it was just okay. It's fine to use, but I think there are other good rubbers out there too.

I saw it in the catalog and got curious, so I bought it for my backhand.
Like others have said, it's slightly tacky.Compared to the C-1 I used before, it doesn't bounce as much.
For backhand drives, it went in more easily if I hit with a stronger impact.The spin really is just "slightly" tacky - depending on how you brush it, something like the G-1 actually has more spin.
That said, the feel is soft, and forehand drives go in with a light touch.
Just like Nittaku claims, it grips the ball firmly even when your form breaks down.
The arc isn't all that pronounced.I'd recommend using it on the forehand rather than the backhand.
