      It's soft and the ball sinks into the sponge nicely. The sheet is tacky so the ball doesn't drop off it easily. I think it suits an outer blade or the backhand side.

      Rasanter C45 was really good!
      My previous rubber was the Rasanter R48, but since winter was coming and rubbers get harder in the cold, I wanted to drop the hardness a bit, so I used it a little softer.
      Thanks to the counter spin damper, countering was easy.
      I test-hit the "um" version but it flew too much, so the 2.0 was better for me.
      C48 felt like it was for advanced players while C45 felt more like an intermediate rubber.
      I didn't really feel much tackiness.
      I like it more than the R45.

      I put UltraMax thickness on the Z-side and used it on my backhand.

      It was way squishier than I expected.
      It sinks in even without trying, so control and how easily it takes spin are outstanding.
      It might be a bit too soft for the forehand, though.

      The sheet is quite strong, and it doesn't chip easily, so the short game, blocking, and countering are all fairly stable.
      Loops are easy too, but when you make heavier contact, the drive feels like it drops off a bit because of the softness. When hitting hard, I think you need to be a little conscious of spin.

      I think this would be good on the backhand of a blade that doesn't have great ball-holding feel.
      I'll do a comparison review again once I get an R48.

      2.0mm, 47.5g after cutting.

      Used on the backhand of a 7-ply all-wood blade with good ball-holding feel.
      High performance and rounded. Other people have compared it to Butterfly rubbers, and I got a similar impression myself.

      Good points
      - Soft hitting feel, higher-pitched impact sound
      - Surprisingly high arc for a Rasanter
      - Serves bite well
      - Stable over the table, chiquitas and flicks are both easy
      - Blocks stay on the table
      - Doesn't drop off even on contact hits, and flat hits work too

      Difficult points
      - With my blade and swing, it holds the ball too much and I kept overhitting
      - And yet the ball comes out a bit shallow
      - C48 got spin even with a light graze, but C45 doesn't perform unless you sink the ball in as much as with the R series
      - Countering feels more automatic with C48

      I think this really should be paired with a harder, faster blade.
      I'd recommend it for people who like to settle into rallies without forcing their shots.

      Or, if you're using an outer-ply blade
      and want to widen your options for developing points off the backhand, it's worth trying too.

      I put the 2.0mm on my backhand. I used to use Tenergy 64, but felt it was dropping off, so I switched.
      Let me just say it plainly: this is a god rubber. I used C48 once, but it was too hard so I gave up on it. This rubber's hardness is honestly just right - if you want a soft touch you get a soft touch, and if you want speed you get speed, with a really clear distinction between the two, which is great. Stops land solidly too, and chiquitas are easy. I used it on my backhand this time, but it's plenty good on the forehand as well. If C48 was too hard for you to use, definitely give this one a try.
