It's not super fast, but the ball flies exactly where you expect it to, which suits me since I prioritize control.
You could call it a rubber with no real character, but compared to something that flies completely differently from what you picture, I think this kind is actually best.
It also doesn't grip the ball so much that it over-spins, which means it's less affected by the opponent's spin too — I like that typical pips-out trait.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

There were times I blamed my mistakes on the pips-out rubber, but when a push rally went long, I won the spin battle plenty of times, and being able to ignore a certain amount of the opponent's spin is a real plus. The feel of the ball also makes a nice sound, and I think the spin is more than enough.
I think this rubber is perfect as a first short pips rubber.
Personally, I found it really easy to use!
I had it on my backhand. I'm thinking of switching to inverted rubber after this one, but I've gotten so used to pips that I'm actually torn about whether to go with another pips rubber next - that's how much I like this one.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I run a YouTube channel about table tennis equipment. With this rubber, the player's skill level shows up directly in the results. The bounce, spin, and speed all come down to how well the user controls it. Because its technique-dependent performance is high, there's no shortage of spin either. It's truly an all-around short pips rubber.

I use the medium thickness on my backhand.
Pushes and other short-game shots stay on the table fine.
You can do topspin drives and chiquitas if you want, but there's no real power behind them.

I used the medium thickness for chopping. The thin version might have worked just as well, but pushes came out low and stayed on the opponent's side of the table, which left a good impression.

I used this a little before, so I wanted to write about it.
I normally use inverted rubber on both sides, but I happened to get hold of this one and tried hitting with it. My memory is a bit hazy, so please bear with me.
First, I felt the classic short-pips response with no real quirks.
It's a speed-oriented rubber and I didn't feel much grip on the ball, so it was easy to smash topspin drives.
That said, without glue it's hard to get the same speed as in the glue era, so if you switch from a tension short pips you might feel the bounce is a bit lacking.
Still, the short game was easy to do, and flicks and stops were simple too.
