It generates spin, but it's heavy and doesn't fly...
You can't really compare it to a high-tension rubber, and it's a no-go for beginners.
If you have power and a fast swing, you can make it work.
I've used several sheets, and the lifespan — or maybe just the quality consistency of the tackiness — felt all over the place.
If you're not normally a tacky-rubber user, it's a nice luxury to use once in a while as a change of pace.
Since I don't have much power, I'm going back to tension rubber...Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Compared to a standard 7-ply blade, this one has slightly less bounce.
I'd recommend pairing it with a bouncy rubber.
If you hit it firmly, you get good speed and spin, and since it doesn't bounce too much, you'll make fewer mistakes in the short game too.
The blade is a bit larger than average, so if you're putting on heavy rubbers, it's a good idea to pick a lighter individual blade.

I don't think there are many carbon blades out there with control this good.
No joke, this is a really easy blade to use.
Of course, being a carbon material, you can still get plenty of speed and power on hard shots.
The feel on contact is close to wood, so it's really easy to hit with, and it should satisfy players from beginners up to upper-intermediate.
The feel is similar to VICTAS's Zexgear In or Fire Fall too. (This is just my personal impression.)

My favorite large-ball blade is the XLB, so I put this on it with high expectations as its dedicated rubber, but...
The feel is a bit hard, and the ball comes off it a little fast.
It comes down to preference, but I think it suits players who like to hit hard close to the table.

It's a surprisingly bouncy rubber.
If anything, I find the R42 easier to use.
Blocks fly long and pushes float up, so control is a bit tricky, so I'd suggest pairing it with a blade that has more controlled bounce.
