It's a short pips rubber that can do a bit of everything. I think a rubber like this would be great for shakehand players running pips on the backhand. It keeps that distinctive short-pips feel while still being quite easy to hit with. It also works well for choppers who focus on variation!

This is the well-known, dependable Roundell. It doesn't give you crazy amounts of spin or tons of speed, but it's barely affected by incoming spin, so it's an outstandingly easy rubber to use!

Quite a few people probably feel like it's harder to get spin on the ball since the switch to plastic balls. So I've been trying tacky rubbers like Triple Spin again with the plastic ball. This rubber's performance really changes a lot between celluloid and plastic - with celluloid I didn't think it was that high-performance, but with plastic the ball doesn't slip and you get a hitting feel close to celluloid, which is a huge advantage!

This rubber is so well-balanced I think you could use it on both sides. It's the kind of all-around rubber that can do everything! From close-to-the-table play to topspin drives at mid-distance, everything is stable. It's definitely worth the 5000 yen price tag - top-level among TSP's tension rubbers!

This is a good entry-level tension rubber. At 4,000 yen you can't really complain, but both speed and spin are just so-so. Vega is technically released by TSP (through a distributor though), so I'd push for that one instead!
