Back in the day, I used to apply glue to a Skyline 3 with blue sponge and use it that way.
There are some similarities, but this one feels like the ball flies on a more direct, flatter trajectory. The absolute spin level is higher on the Skyline 3, but the speed feels a little higher on the neo version.
Also, because of the distinctive feel of a tacky rubber, you might be a bit thrown off at first if you're coming from a tension rubber.
If you can produce a solid brushing drive, I think you can make the most of both the tacky rubber's tricky ball and the neo's speed. For someone like me without much power, I couldn't really make it work.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

So far I've used every rubber in the Fastarc series except the P1.
This review is mainly about using it on the backhand, with a bit of forehand use too.
I didn't find any technique in the short game that felt particularly hard to do.
Drives on both forehand and backhand have a somewhat flat trajectory similar to G1, giving a more consistent shot.
However, I felt it's more affected by the opponent's spin than G1 is. When I tried to block the opponent's drive straightforwardly, it sometimes went long.
I felt I needed to return the ball with a bit of a counter motion, or add even more spin of my own on top of theirs.
Overall, I think it's a high-performance rubber that's also easy to use.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is the loudest, most satisfying sound I've heard since a glued rubber, or the Pride 30, or the Charge MF.
I tried it on both forehand and backhand, and honestly, more than the power, what I enjoy is that satisfying metallic ping every time you hit the ball.
Sure, the topspin drive is reasonably fast too, but compared to more recent rubbers, both the spin and speed are probably about average.
That said, this satisfying sound has a charm that no other rubber can replicate.
There are a few other rubbers out there now with a similarly satisfying sound, but this one has a slightly different feel for holding the ball.
Because of that, even drives from away from the table, or shots hit more like a meet-shot, oddly enough still land on the table.
Overall, I don't think you'll regret this rubber, so I'd really like people to try it at least once.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

This was my first time trying a Darker blade, and it turned out better than expected — it's become one of my main blades.
First, the feel: whether you put tacky rubber or tension rubber on it, it feels great to hit with. It doesn't jar your hand, yet you get a real sense of being able to control the ball freely. I really liked that.
As for bounce, among inner-carbon blades it's on the lower-middle side, so it's easy to keep the ball on the table, and small techniques like stops are easy too. At the same time, you can still hit powerful shots when you go for a hard hit.
As for how it holds the ball, it's just right — not holding it too much — so it's easy to choose between spinning or hitting flat, which feels well balanced.
In summary, this blade doesn't have any one standout, extreme trait, but it's a comfortable blade to use that gives the player's own skill a little boost, like it's backing you up.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

The 80 sits right in the middle of the Tenergy lineup, but it's really easy to use.
It has more pop than the 05 or 64, which widens the range of shots you can play.
It also keeps that classic Tenergy trait of automatically adding topspin to the ball, and since the ball doesn't fly around as wildly as with the 64 or 05, it feels very stable.
If I had to compare it to another brand, it's kind of like a Fastarc C1 with a higher arc, though the feel on contact is quite different.
Overall, since it doesn't have much in the way of quirks compared to the rest of the Tenergy series, I'd like to recommend it to anyone who struggled to get used to the 05 or 25.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
