  Acoustic

  

  I didn't use this blade much back in the celluloid ball days, but once the switch to plastic balls happened and I picked it up again, I got hooked.
  First of all, the grip on the ball is amazing.
  You even get that sticky, sucking-in feeling. On top of that, the distinctive sound of the "string instrument" series brings back the pure fun of table tennis, regardless of how good or bad you are.
  Ball speed is a bit behind a carbon blade, but I think it's hands-down the most stable blade out of any I've used.
  For a beginner, I think it'll help you improve going forward, and for intermediate to advanced players looking for stability, it's a blade I can recommend too.

  セルボールの時にはそんなに使っていなかったラケットなんですが、プラに変わってこのラケットを再び使用して見たところハマりました。
  まずは球持ち、これが素晴らしいです。
  吸い付くような感覚すら感じます。それに弦楽器シリーズ特有の打球音により卓球の上手い下手どうこうよりも楽しさが蘇ります。
  球のスピードなどはカーボンラケットに比べると劣りますが安定感では全ラケットの中でもダントツだと思います。
  初心者ならこれからの卓球の上達の助けになってくれると思いますし、安定感を求める中、上級者の方にもオススメできるラケットです。

  I also own the Acoustic, so I'll review this while comparing it a bit to that one.
  First, at the forehand-hitting stage, the catalog lists it as mid-slow, but comparing it to the Acoustic, I don't think there's that big a difference.
  The short game over the table is easy on both the Acoustic and the Violin, and there wasn't much difference there either.
  On drives, I felt it was harder to generate speed compared to the Acoustic.
  However, loop drives that make use of the flex felt great, with enough spin to make opponents overhit again and again.
  I felt this blade suits a playing style where you build a chance ball with a loop and then finish it off with a smash or by aiming for a tight angle.

  アコースティックも所持していますのでそれと少し比較しながらレビューしたいと思います。
  まずフォア打ちの段階ではミッドスローとカタログ表記ですがアコースティックと比べてみてそこまで大きく違いはないと思います。
  台上プレーはアコースティック、バイオリン共にしやすくこちらも大差はなかったです。
  ドライブではアコースティックに比べるとスピードが出しづらく感じました。
  しかししなりを活かしたループドライブは相手がオーバーミスを連発する回転量で好感触でした。
  ループでチャンスボールを作りスマッシュやコースをついて決めるようなプレースタイルが自分としてはこのラケットに合っていると思いました。

  HAMMOND PRO α

  

  Back when I used glue on it, the balance between speed and control was excellent — it was the best.
  Even now without glue, it still has that Hammond character. It's not the type that grips the ball with the sponge like a lot of modern rubbers — it generates power through the sheet's grip on the ball instead.
  It feels fast, but the ball leaves quickly, so if you're used to today's spin-oriented rubbers it might feel a little awkward at first.
  I think it works on both forehand and backhand, but the spin amount feels a bit lacking on the forehand, so I'd lean toward recommending it for the backhand.
  On the backhand it's easy to counter and topspin drive with, and it lasts fairly long too, so I think you'd be satisfied with it.

  昔、グルーを、塗って使っていた時はスピードとコントロールのバランスがよく最高でした。
  ノングルーの現在でもハモンドらしさは残っていて、最近のラバーにあるスポンジで掴む感じではなく、シートの引っかかりで球に威力を出すタイプのラバーです。
  スピード感はありますが、球離れは早いため現在のスピン系に慣れている方は少々使いずらいかもしれません。
  フォアバックどちらでもいけるラバーだとは思いますが回転量がフォアだと物足りないためバック面に貼るのがどちらかといえばオススメです。
  バックで貼ればカウンター、バックドライブどちらもやりやすく寿命もそこそこ長いため満足できるかと思います。

  This is a spin tension rubber, but a slightly different type from Tenergy. Tenergy holds the ball well and grips it with the sponge, but this one felt more like the sheet grips the ball while the sponge launches it.
  Also, Tenergy adds spin automatically, but with this one you generate powerful shots by putting the spin on yourself, so it's easy to vary how much spin you put on the ball.
  It's easy to use and I couldn't find any shot it's bad at, but because of that it doesn't really have a standout characteristic either.
  That said, it doesn't have the quirks of Fastarc-type rubbers (a flat, straight trajectory) or Tenergy-type rubbers (spin that grabs on its own), so I think it's an easy rubber for anyone to use.

  テナジーとは少し違う系統のスピンテンションです。テナジーは球持ちがよくスポンジで掴む感じですが、こちらはシートで珠を持ってスポンジで飛ばす感じがしました。
  また、テナジーは自動で回転がかかってくれますが、こちらは自分からかけていく事で強力な球が出るので球の回転量の変化がつけやすいです。
  使いやすく、苦手な技術も特に見当たらないラバーですが、その分これといった特徴もありません。
  しかしながらファスターク系統の直線的弾道、テナジー系統の勝手にスピンがかかるなどの癖がないためどなたでも使いやすいラバーだと思います。

  The topsheet isn't all that soft, so it felt more like medium hardness to me.
  I mainly used it on my backhand this time, so this review is mostly about the backhand side.
  The short game is easy — both chiquita and pushes go in reliably on the opponent's side. It's also easy to place the ball where you're aiming.
  Backhand topspin drives and counters are easy to do too, though the power was a bit less than I expected. Blocks land very consistently.
  Overall, it gives a different kind of feel on the ball compared to Tenergy, and the spin is more than good enough — an easy-to-use rubber.

  シートがそれほど柔らかくないため感覚としては中間硬度くらいに感じました。
  今回はバック面を中心に使いましたので主にバック面でのレビューとなります。
  台上プレーはチキータ、ツッツキともにしやすくしっかりと相手コートに入ってくれます。又、コースの打ちわけもしやすく狙った所に入ってくれます。
  バックドライブ、カウンターもやりやすいですが思ったより威力は出ませんでした。ブロックはとても安定して入ります。
  全体としてはテナジーとはまた違う感覚のボールを掴む感じがして回転量なども申し分なく使いやすいラバーでした。
