As a longtime fan of penhold loopers and the Speed series, I just had to try this one out, so I bought it.
Holding it... the FL grip felt a bit thin, and I could feel some thickness to it. It was slightly heavier than I expected. With Blue Fire rubber (thickness 2.0) on both sides, it came to 191g.
When I actually hit with it... the feel on a backhand half-volley was so pleasant! It felt like I could freely stop the ball short or send it deep, whichever I wanted.
My pushes weren't very stable, but that's just because I'm not very good. Still, they cut through nicely.
Also, feeling a bit awkward controlling my forehand with the slim grip is more of a personal issue.
The feel is the best! It felt like the moment the ball touched the blade, it would naturally arc through the air and drop onto the table.
It has that sharp "katsu!" sound, while still giving a real sense of holding the ball — truly a "that's Mr. Darker for you!" kind of blade.

chaco chin man Bounces like you wouldn't expect from an inner blade

Before using this blade, I assumed the hardness and bounce would sit somewhere between inner ALC and ZLC, but once I actually tried it, it was completely different. On light hits the feel wasn't all that hard, but on hard shots I felt like the feel got a bit harder. There's this "gachi" sensation right at the moment of impact. As for bounce, like the title says, when you hit it hard it really doesn't feel like an inner blade at all. It bounced more and felt harder than my go-to Freitas ALC. For an inner blade to perform this well, I think the materials must be really good. It's quite high performance. If an average player is going to use this blade, I'd recommend rubber with a more modest bounce.
Personally, I like Tamasu (Butterfly) rubber and don't want to change rubber just for this blade, so this blade isn't one I can use.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Switched over from a Swat Carbon
The best thing about this blade is, hands down, the ball-holding feel and the feel on contact. When you get a good clean hit, it makes a sound almost like metal, and when you put spin on the ball you can really feel it in your hand, it feels great to hit with.
And even though it's an inner blade, it puts out power that rivals an outer blade while still staying stable, so if you're someone who loves inner blades, this is irresistible.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

The ball-holding is really incredible.
When the ball holds well, it's easy to add spin.
Since Izanas carbon is built into the inner layer, you also get good distance and speed.
The ball sticks to it, then gets released after being held for a moment.
This is a great blade.

I'd heard this inner-carbon blade was similar to a ZLC, so I figured it'd work like a Hurricane Long 5 and put on Hurricane rubber. But I don't think it suited me (probably just my lack of skill). Even though it's an inner-carbon blade, it bounces a ton, and the ball flies off before you can really add spin, so it felt like it lost that classic Hurricane feel. That said, with tension rubber I was able to play with a great balance of spin, speed, distance, and control. It also has a wide sweet spot and is light in weight - a super good blade.

I used to use this one.
It was a blade where the feel changed completely depending on the rubber and its hardness. With soft rubber the ball leaves the racket quickly, while with hard rubber it feels like the ball gets grabbed firmly and then flung off. It's hard to put into words, but with hard rubber it feels almost automatic, like the blade itself grabs the ball, adds spin, and sends it flying.
Personally, I wanted to add spin manually through my own flex, so I switched to the thinner-bladed Liberta Arx, and it was exactly right!
These days I've handed the Synergy off to my wife, and I have Fastarc G1 on the forehand instead, but I still get really heavy shots on meets and drives.
The blade itself is only 82g, yet the power on the ball is amazingly consistent... it's a strange blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

It's not a hard blade. It has a great ball-holding feel, almost like the ball sticks to it, yet it still flies well - an indescribably unique sensation. I feel like counters and topspin rallies from around mid-distance are where this blade's performance really shines. Depending on the player, though, it might hold the ball too much, making fast-paced attacks close to the table harder to pull off.
