It's labeled "hard" but it doesn't feel crazy hard, if anything it's on the easier side to use. When you get a solid hit in, the destructive power is outstanding, and even when you don't get a clean hit, it still has great stability. It's a rubber whose potential really depends on the player, for better or worse!

This is the latest Evolution! It outdoes the previous ones by a lot in terms of speed. And of course the spin is insane, so getting shots with that much spin flying at high speed is amazing!

I borrowed a friend's and tried it out - they said they bought it as a joke, so I had fun test-hitting it, but the price surprised me lol. It grips for spin to a surprising degree, on par with inverted rubber, and since it doesn't degrade, you might be able to use it for a decade!

For a short pips rubber, it grips the ball insanely well! So in terms of control and versatility of technique, it's really excellent. But because of that, it does lose some of that knuckle-ball and quick-hitting character, so it doesn't feel very "short pips" in nature. In the hands of an advanced player who can make full use of it, it shows off some really high-level specs!

Among tacky rubbers, this one leans toward speed. That's only relative to other tacky rubbers, of course - it's still specialized for spin, so when chopping you get good control plus brutal cutting spin, and when attacking you get more speed than you'd expect from a tacky rubber!
