I bought this rubber in max thickness; my previous rubber was the Q5.
After using it, my impression was that it feels almost like a tension rubber.
For one-course drives and smashes, hitting it the same way as a tension rubber gets you tremendous spin, and it didn't feel tacky at all. But for pushes and counters, it does have that tacky feel and doesn't fly much - which actually makes counters land well, and makes it easy to hit deep, high-spin loop drives.
On top of that, serves and stops are easy to put spin on, and they stop short enough to score points just from that.
Also, maybe because the topsheet is soft, it felt softer than the listed hardness (around 50 degrees by feel).
Compared to the Xianglong, the arc is higher and it's easier to get spin on, but the Xianglong felt easier to generate speed with.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

According to the shop staff, both the sponge and the sheet have been changed from Swat Spin, and it really shows — it's a huge power-up.
It keeps the lightness and nice sound of Swat Spin, but the sponge is now firmer, so you get more spin and more speed too.
And at this price point, the value for money is amazing.
I'm also curious about the durability, so I'll keep using it hard and see how it holds up.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Comparing it to the Dynasty Carbon.
At 87g, the weight is about average for the number of plies.
I think that's because the core is balsa.
This blade has a lot of plies, but it's quite soft and feels stable.
It doesn't produce that much speed, but you get a decent amount of spin.
Because the core is balsa, the feel is a bit lacking, but the special material makes it bounce evenly, so there's not much sense of unpredictability.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Since it's an outer-carbon blade, I expected a harder feel and distance on light shots - the classic outer-blade thing. But when I hit power drives or counter drives, maybe because of the adhesive layer around the core, there was a bit of a soft sensation.
I found it hard to back off toward away-from-the-table and go for drives or counters with this blade
I felt this blade suits people who mostly hit flat shots, with maybe a 7:3 ratio of flat hits to drives, close to mid-distance, rather than someone who wants to drive hard constantly
Also, since it's from an overseas company, the grip is quite thick, so it's probably hard to hold unless you have large handsOverall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Hard

I bought the FL, 93g version.
The top ply on this blade is walnut, and you'd think that would make it hard, but it's not like that at all.
It's on the soft side, easy to control, and easy to get an arc on, so it works well for both meet-hitting and topspin drives.
And honestly, what I like most about this blade is the grip.
This blade's grip has some width to it and feels really easy to hold.
It's an FL, but the grip is oddly close to a straight grip — great for people with big hands or anyone who likes a thick grip.
The feel on contact is also really nice and refreshing, though it's a bit on the heavier side, so that's something to watch out for.
This blade also pairs well with unorthodox rubbers like long pips or short pips, so I'd recommend it to attack-oriented choppers or to close-to-the-table unorthodox players who prioritize stability.
The one downside is that, maybe because of how I make contact, the ball tends to come out lighter compared to other blades, but there are plenty of ways to work around that, like generating speed the opponent can't touch or breaking them down with rapid strokes, so it doesn't bother me much.
Overall, it's a well-rounded, good-value blade that lets you perform every technique at a solid 7 or 8 out of 10.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
