I didn't expect much when I bought it, but it's really easy to use and has become one of my favorites.
Compared to G1 it falls short on spin, speed, and grip on the ball, but it makes up for that with control that's good enough to more than compensate.
That said, it might feel a bit lacking if you're trading blows from mid-distance.
I was torn between this and Vega Europe — it's not a perfectly fair comparison since the blades were different, but I felt Vega Europe was a bit lacking on spin and speed even close to the table, so with Rigan I have no complaints close to the table, and I'm glad I went with this one.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
