For a 5-ply blade, the weight is on the heavier side, but it's outstanding for putting spin on the ball.
It doesn't generate a ton of speed on its own, but you can dial that in with your rubber choice. It's versatile enough to handle pretty much any rubber, though if you go with a hard rubber the overall weight gets heavy, so you may need to adjust the sponge thickness to compensate.

Although the rubber is hard, the feel when hitting is softer than I expected. Rather than a brushing stroke, a stroke that really sinks the ball in brings out this rubber's performance better. The distinction between a soft touch and a hard hit is very clear, so switching between the two is easy. That said, it is heavy, so that might be something to watch out for.

It's very soft. Since it doesn't fly much, the speed isn't that high either. Still, even a light hit produces a decent amount of speed, so it's not bad. The sheet itself is Mark V-based, so it has a reasonable amount of spin. Since it's not much affected by the opponent's spin, you can go on the attack yourself without hesitation.

This is a rubber with a thin topsheet. Because of that, it tends to feel softer than the listed hardness.
Basic hitting sends the ball flying solidly, but since it draws a bit of an arc, you don't really get a sense of it overshooting. For drives, you can either sink the ball in or brush it, and both work, but sinking the ball in lets you get both speed and spin at the same time. Hitting against backspin and chop-blocking are also stable.
The short game doesn't bounce too much either, so you don't have to be unusually careful there.
This is a balance-focused rubber that achieves both speed and spin. I'd recommend it to anyone except people who don't get along with thin-topsheet rubbers.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'd recommend this as an entry-level tension rubber. The bounce is on the modest side, but the control is quite good. The spin performance is quite good too. From what I remember, loop drives were easy to hit. You can play relatively true to your own feel, so it's also fairly stable.
These days it's a bit overshadowed since Rozena, an even higher-performance rubber at a similar price, has come out, but if Rozena doesn't suit you, I think it's worth giving this one a try.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
