As you can tell from the basic specs, both the sponge and topsheet are on the hard side.
I think hard rubbers are all fairly similar across brands, but with this one, if your swing isn't fast enough, you won't get power - and you'll end up with a floating ball that gets counter-hit. But if you swing all the way through properly, this rubber can generate quite a lot of spin. What's also worth noting besides the spin is that smashes are pretty fast. Against a light backspin ball, you can even smash it straight through at an angle. That said, it's not an out-of-control fast rubber, so for flicks over the table and cutting a well-chopped push, the ball comes off quickly enough that it clears before the spin fully takes effect, while still staying on the table.
I'm more of a player who does a loop followed by two-winged smashes rather than a pure drive player (though I do use fast topspin drives sometimes), so I think this suits that style well.
It should also suit penhold players who use drives but are better at smashing.
It might also be worth trying if you're moving over from a short-pips rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I usually prefer composite blades, but as a way of going back to basics, I tried a few of the well-known 5-ply blades, and the flight just wasn't to my taste, so I moved over to 7-ply. My image of 7-ply blades was that they tend to be heavy and fly really far (and the famous ones really did live up to that image), but this racket was different from that image, feeling fairly restrained and on the softer side. I think pretty much any rubber would pair with it well.
It's that much of a no-frills, versatile racket.
Personally, I think it would work well not just for intermediate players but also as a first racket for beginners who plan to stick with the sport for a while.

The basic performance is pretty much the same as the Timo Boll or Zhang Jike, but as everyone says, the grip is what stands out.
Since it's on the thinner side, I felt it was just the right thickness for women or people with smaller hands to use. Personally, I found flicks over the table easier thanks to the grip.
