No doubt about it, the Curl P1 really is easy to add variation with.
I had the extra-thin version on the backhand of my chopper blade, and I love that I can freely choose to either send the opponent's topspin straight back or turn it into a knuckle ball
It takes a bit of a knack for how you contact the ball, but once you get used to it I think it's the easiest long pips to useOverall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I bought this because I'm a fan of Yuya Oshima.
Luckily I got a heavy individual blade, so the speed and spin were top-tier (lol)
Since it's an outer-carbon blade, it's really stiff and springy.
But oddly enough, serves are still easy to put spin on.
I could really feel the benefit unique to this blade: it just doesn't fly if you hit it weakly.
I've tried a few carbon blades, and the Fortius puts the most spin on the ball by far.
It's got speed too.
The downside is that it's a bit heavy ^_^
Since Yuya Oshima himself is known as a physical monster, I'd like to build up my own physicality so I can get the full benefit of everything the Fortius offers.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Hard

If you're someone who hasn't bought a tension rubber because everyone uses them but they seem expensive, you should start with Vega Europe.
It's a warm, approachable rubber that clearly teaches you the basics of what tension rubbers are about.
Personally, I feel like this one should be the real "Vega Intro"...Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

It's a rubber that gives the same sense of reassurance as Tenergy, but cheaper than Tenergy.
I don't get the impression the spin comes on automatically.
It's more of a style where you generate the spin yourself, but once you do put spin on it, it's basically Tenergy-level quality.
In other words, you get to practice generating your own spin, and at the same time get Tenergy-like quality,
so you could say you get both growth and performance at once.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

My impression is that this is a straight-flying Tenergy
Be careful, it doesn't fly like 05
I'd recommend it for anyone whose main tactic is forehand power shots - I had it on a chopper blade.
When a chance ball comes, I want to finish it in one shot, so it has to be one of the speed-oriented Tenergy rubbers.
Since it's a Tenergy, the spin is more than adequate too, so if you want the greedy combo of speed plus spin, this is really the only choice.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
