If you normally use spin-oriented tension rubbers like Tenergy or Fastarc G-1, I wouldn't recommend this one (it's not unusable, but you might give up on it right away — kind of like with tacky rubber). Even just contacting the ball on a forehand hit, the sense of speed was insane. At first, if you drive without knowing what you're doing, it goes straight into the net. If you hit a bit more into the ball than usual, you get a fast ball out. The trajectory is on the low side — though not as low as the Plaxon 525.
Surprisingly, sidespin-heavy serves bite well with this.
Topspin rallies are tough. Since it doesn't produce much arc, the ball is harder to keep on the table than usual.
If you're at a beginner level where rallies rarely go on long enough to fall back away from the table, I think you can win a lot just with your drives and their speed.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
Recomend racket VIOLIN CARBON INNER

I'm new to short pips. I use the max thickness. It puts on way more spin than you'd expect from vertical pips — it's basically like horizontal pips. Driving with it is hard. Flat hits go in as long as you hit them. The speed is seriously fast too. The knuckle balls are so heavy that opponents just can't return them, lol. It's for people who want to play a quick close-to-the-table game. I think every short-pips player should try it at least once (though most people probably already have...).
I put it on a carbon blade (one of the bounciest ones out there), but I feel like it actually suits wood blades better. A thinner blade might be even better. The sponge looks cool too.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The speed is way too much, lol.
It matched well with short pips and speed-oriented tension rubbers. The ball comes off the blade fast.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little hard

Tried it on a friend's blade.
It's surprisingly soft for its hardness rating, so it produces quite a bit of speed but was still easy to control.
Maybe because the sheet's grip isn't that strong, I felt like it didn't produce much arc. Spin was also hard to generate... backspin returns were tough too.In the hands of an advanced player this would probably be an absolute beast of a rubber.
For an intermediate-level player, it feels more like an upgraded version of the early tension rubbers.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This is a rubber strictly for advanced players. The amount of spin you get from brushing the ball is on the level of a tacky rubber. It's quite hard, so chopping is difficult with it. But it does put spin on the ball.
