This was 13 years ago, but I used it on my backhand. It's a rubber where the ball sinks in and then launches. It doesn't give you much speed, and it doesn't put much spin on the ball either, but for learning your swing, a rubber this soft and slow might actually be good. Also, if you're playing close to the table, pairing it with a carbon blade gives you plenty of speed.

Back in my school days I used Mark V on the forehand and Exizu F1 on the backhand. Hitting techniques like smashes, angle shots, and meet-hits were easy to pull off. It's great for learning the pattern of a backspin serve into a loop drive into a smash. You need a blade that's light and bouncy, or the ball won't fly deep. It's not a one-shot kill-type rubber, so I think it's best suited to fast-tempo rallies.
