I was originally using a Stiga rosewood racket, but I needed to hit the ball faster, so I considered an inner carbon racket. I narrowed it down to three: the Hayata Hina H2, Cyber Shape Carbon, and Harimoto Tomokazu SALC.
The Hayata Hina H2 was heavy, weighing over 200g with the G1 Kyohyo racket, and I found it difficult to handle, so I gave up on it. If there was someone who could handle that weight, I think it would be a great racket. The Cyber Shape Carbon racket was good even before the original, but the feel was hard to hit, and it felt quite strange when switching from wood. The ball also released quickly, and I personally found it difficult to grip.
The Harimoto Tomokazu SALC racket, even with the Kyohyo and Zaia racket combination, weighs less than 190g, making it easy to swing. The feel of the ball was similar to wood, with a flexible feel and a bouncy feel. This racket is definitely worth considering for anyone considering switching from wood.
If there's one drawback, it's that despite being carbon, it doesn't bounce as much as expected. Therefore, it is not compatible with Chinese sticky rubber. If you are going to use Kyohyo as your main material, I think it would be better to combine it with an outer material.
