The Fire Fall SC is a perfectly balanced offensive blade for modern attackers. Silver Carbon, a combination of elastic and stable carbon and aluminium fibres chosen by the VICTAS material experts, perfectly complements the 5-ply composition of the Fire Fall SC to form a true premium offensive blade. Fire Fall SC is made especially for variant-rich and fast mid-distance topspin and counter-topspin. This is where it shows its full potential. In serve/return and in over-the-table play, the blade provides for excellent feedback and feel. An offensive blade leaving nothing to be desired for any modern offensive player.

This blade pairs really well with tacky rubber and soft German tension rubbers.
Even with a full-on tacky rubber on the forehand, the ball never falls short, and you get speed added on top of heavy spin.
With a tension rubber on, you can hit incredibly fast shots.
Blocks stop the ball well, and you can produce shots with real speed and heavy spin — it's a fantastic blade!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Someone from TSP let me try one on loan
and I picked it based on the feel alone.
The great thing about this blade is that it responds exactly to how much power I put in.
I've got 102 on my backhand
and I can properly stop, punch, apply spin, and knuckle block.
It also doesn't bounce excessively
so as long as I play it properly, the blade doesn't do anything unexpected on its own.
I've got Shoryu on my forehand
and it really matches well.
I've been able to add more variety to my topspin drives.
You do need to open the racket angle, of course, but
neither the Shoryu nor the SC does anything unpredictable.
I'm going to keep using this blade from now on.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I was using Butterfly's Innerforce ZLC, and when it got discontinued I bought this one because the construction looked similar.
The blade is a bit thicker
but it feels remarkably close to the ZLC.
When it comes to bounce on hard shots, SC wins.
The spin on topspin drives is about equal
both are easy to put spin on.
For blocking, the ZLC wins.
For some reason backhand blocks stop almost creepily well — SC isn't bad either, but the ZLC is on another level.
The balance point on the SC is toward the tip, while the ZLC's is closer to the grip.
I'd recommend this to anyone who wants even a taste of the discontinued ZLC's performance.
It's a completely different special material, but I was surprised how similar the feel can be just from the construction.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Flicks and stops in the short game are easy to pull off, and chiquita too, of course.
The power on counters close to the table is really strong, so this might suit players who stay close to the table.
Even if you drop back away from the table, I think you can still get good power out of it if you commit to a full swing, but if your swing is half-hearted it's basically useless.
I'd recommend it to players with solid body work and footwork.

Pairs great with tacky rubber.
I run tacky on both sides myself, so I really feel this.
It gets balls in even when they look like they're going to drop short.
I'd recommend it to anyone struggling with the lack of speed from tacky rubber.

Since I use short pips, I deliberately went with the heaviest one in the series
and it was totally the right call.
With a 92g Shoryu Max thickness and Moristo SP thick, the total weight comes to 175g, which is a great weight for close-to-the-table topspin drives — any lighter and it would probably hurt my blocking, so this is honestly the best weight for me.
This blade doesn't get in the way of the rubber's performance.
The strengths of both Shoryu and Moristo SP come through clearly
on the forehand I get a solid topspin drive with plenty of speed
on the backhand I can block, knuckle, punch, and drive properly.
I also bought this because I was drawn to its performance with Fire Fall AC and LC
and other than with SC, the blade's character comes through very clearly.
It's easy enough to use that I'd even recommend it to inverted-rubber-on-both-sides players who thin out their rubber or otherwise adjust to make it work.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

It combines ease of use and destructive power at a really high level. The power on a single shot is great, of course, but it's also easy to handle the short game, so I'd recommend it to intermediate players and above!
