Sweden Defensive from Yasaka is a blade produced in the famous table tennis factory in Tranas, Sweden. Most defensive players are looking for optimal soft touch of the ball combined with exceptional feeling and control. Yasaka’s Sweden Defensive is designed to meet that demand. Fractionally softer outer veneers and a slightly enlarged head in comparison to traditional blades, give the Sweden Defensive it’s unique characteristics.

It's an orthodox chop blade that doesn't bounce too much or too little. I think it'll appeal to most people, but the straight grip I used is extremely short, so you can't really hit forehand drives with it. If you force it, your hand starts to hurt. (Hitting flat is somewhat manageable.)
It's a mystery why it's so short. Since you can't attack with it, if you're buying one, definitely get the flared grip instead.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Used with DNA M max thickness and Carl P4 OUS. My first impression, coming from someone who normally uses Acoustic, was basically "this is wood, through and through." The moderate hitting sound is kind of satisfying. Also, I don't feel like I could miss a push or a block with this. Two-winged chops were also really easy thanks to the large blade.

Overall it was easy to put spin on the ball.
Since the racket itself doesn't bounce much, you can put full spin on serves too,
and chops were also easy to control and cut sharply.
Blocks had great stability too.
Finally, on the attacking side, surprisingly I could attack without any trouble, and hitting flat was strong.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Compared to a normal racket, the blade is far bigger, with a wide high-rebound area.
And it puts on spin nicely and has good control too. It's a really wonderful racket.
However, it does have a drawback. It doesn't bounce much, so it's hard to get speed.
Well, that's just part of being a chop blade, but I think you can make up for it with tension rubber.

I borrowed this from a chopper friend and hit with it, and it's really easy to put topspin on. I originally used the STIGA Allround Classic, so I was surprised at how similar it felt!
Compared to the Allround Classic, it doesn't shock the hand as much and blocks are also more stable.
It was the straight grip, so it's unusually short, but the balance shifts toward the tip, and using the centrifugal force, it bounced more than I expected.

This is a standard chopping blade. There's nothing in particular that stands out about it, but it offers great value for money! I'd recommend it for people who are just starting out as choppers or who want a blade with less bounce!

This is a very standard chopping blade! I think this is a fine blade to start with if you're just getting into playing as a chopper.
Since the blade is large, the sweet spot is wide too, which gives you a good sense of security.
I had Mark V rubber on mine, so the bounce felt a little lacking, but since most people these days are mainly using tension rubbers, that shouldn't be a problem.
