Truly awesome blade for the modern and versatile defensive player! The worlds most successful veneer combination (5-ply allround ) is manufactured with two dampening but elastic outer plies. (Gabon and Anegre), the vibration and the speed of the blade is reduced by increasing the size of the blade by 3 mm, the Senso technology brings maximum dampening effect. The result: an unbelievable control for all defensive shots. A fantastic acceleration for all offensive shots. Pure playing excitement.

This is my impression from borrowing it off a friend.
It really doesn't bounce at all. In a good way — the ball stays on the racket a bit longer, so you get a ton of spin. Drives are slow, but they're really heavy. Also, it's easy to hit a full-power smash with it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

The outer ply is quite hard, so if you use thin-sponge pips you can still chop fine, but you'll end up getting thrown off by the opponent's spin during things like receives — so for those of you who like to grind it out close to the table, I'd recommend pips with about that thin a sponge.
On my forehand I used EL-P, and it felt a bit too bouncy for my taste, so I think a slightly harder tension rubber that doesn't bounce as much as EL-P would be better.
The blade itself isn't just good for chopping — it's also easy to push with, so I highly recommend it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard

Compared to a lot of other blades, this one is outstanding for how easy it is to control your chops, how stable it is, and how sharply you can cut the ball. On attack, the speed isn't amazing, but it's easy to put spin on drives, so you can attack with drives that carry a lot of rotation. If you want to incorporate some attacking play, I think a slightly harder tension rubber on the forehand paired with long pips on the backhand gives a nice balance between offense and defense and is easy to use. By the way, on the forehand side, a softer tension rubber held the ball too well for my liking, so it wasn't quite right for me.

This blade is really specialized for holding back the opponent's drives...
Unfortunately, on attack, I don't think you'll score unless you hit several shots in a row.

I've been using this blade since about a year into playing table tennis. This blade just doesn't bounce, period! Chopping is really easy with it, and it's really easy to learn correct form, so if you're thinking about becoming a chopper, I'd recommend starting with this blade. Also, since it doesn't bounce, you can hit really biting chops too.
That said, because it bounces so little, driving felt pretty difficult. If you commit fully to defense, I think this blade is strong.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft

The Chinese-penhold version of the Defplay Senso, which has become a major chopper's blade, worked well for penhold long pips too.
The feel on contact leans soft, holds the ball well, and offers great control. It's also easy to get spin on backhand shots and serves.
Since I like to attack proactively, and the blade itself has low bounce, I felt it was better to use long pips with a tension-type sponge, like Glass D.TecS or Piranha Formula Tec, to make sure my pushes had enough speed.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
