The Infinity VPS V - with Diamond Touch is a lightweight 5-ply offensive blade built around two hand-selected middle veneers that are special temperature treated (VPS-technology). I've used this for a few years now and have gotten better at matching it to my own physical ability, so I've made some new discoveries and wanted to post about it.
First off, this blade flies like crazy. Compared to something like Butterfly's inner-ALC blades, for example, this one feels like it flies even more. Rather than going with a famous inner-carbon blade, I think this is a good pick if you don't want to use the same thing as everyone else, lol.
I bought this as my second blade about a year after starting table tennis (I was in junior high at the time), but back then I couldn't bring out its full performance.
A big reason was that I just didn't have much muscle strength myself. I'd recommend this blade to people who already have a decent amount of strength. So I wouldn't really recommend it to junior high kids who aren't very built yet. Also, the grip is fairly big, so it might be hard to hold for kids still growing.
On the flip side, once I got to high school and built up more muscle and a bigger frame, I started to think it was a really great blade. I'd recommend it to kids switching blades once they reach high school.The top ply is hard, so light shots make a toy-like sound, but when you swing a full topspin drive it makes this metallic clang like it's about to crack the ball open, which is fun.

It's among the bounciest 5-ply blades out there — it bounces about as much as an inner-carbon blade, but without being as hard as one. Being a 5-ply, it also has good ball-holding feel, so overall it's a high-performance, well-balanced blade. STIGA makes a lot of quite bouncy wood blades, but this one stands out even among those. The feel isn't hard, either, so it's very easy to handle. I use it as my main blade.

I don't think you can get the most out of this blade's performance unless you've practiced quite a bit. Some players switching over from a special-material blade will probably find it hard. I felt that even intermediate players wouldn't be able to handle it well without putting on a softer rubber. I once put Hurricane Neo 3 on a 91g piece and regretted it — felt like I was reaching above my level.

Forehand: SWORD King Pro Blue, backhand: Yinhe Apollo 5, 0.7mm. It grips the ball really well for spin. Even without much muscle strength, I was able to hit strong topspin drives. Smashes are fast and heavy too. The backhand was great for serves. It's easy to change pace with. I don't think you'll regret buying this blade.

This is exactly what you'd expect from a STIGA blade!
It's insanely bouncy for a 5-ply!
I think it pairs well with Chinese rubbers like Hurricane.

First of all, the feel was great and really satisfying. It's very light, so it paired well with heavy Chinese rubbers, especially Hurricane Pro 3 Turbo Blue.

The bounce doesn't feel like a 5-ply blade at all. Of all the 5-ply blades I've used, this is the best. It's easy to hit both topspin and backspin balls, and it's easy to vary the touch between soft and hard shots. The short game is also fairly stable. The only thing is, smashes bring out an odd hardness, so you need to be a bit careful there.
I think it balances better with a medium-hard or harder rubber rather than a soft one. Anyone from intermediate level up can use this.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
