I bought this as a backup for my Cypress G-Max, but it honestly holds its own against single-ply blades. Speed-wise it feels like a single-ply, spin-wise more like a plywood blade, I'd say. If I put Bryce Speed on it too, I think the speed would catch up to a single-ply. This blade went from being my backup to my main racket. Sorry for the long review.

Switched from shakehand to penhold. I peeled off the cork on the back and sanded down the coating so I could use inverted rubber on both sides.
Being an all-wood blade, it holds the ball really well and makes it easy to put spin on drives. In particular, backhand-side chiquitas and drives over the table are easy to do with few mistakes. That said, the backhand style does feel a bit lacking in power.
At first I used Rozena on the forehand, but it didn't quite match my playing style, so I switched to Fastarc G1 and my drives became more stable. Since the blade itself isn't that hard, a harder rubber might work better with it.
Stops over the table are easy too, and overall every technique feels manageable — I think this is a blade that can be used broadly, from beginners to advanced players.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

My friend ended up buying a single-ply blade, so I traded him my racket plus 10,000 yen for it. Honestly, it's amazing - the spin and speed are insane. I'd buy this blade even for 15,000 yen. I was shocked when I test-hit it. Most people would buy it on the spot. Definitely give it a try if you've got 10,000 yen...

I'm turning 30 this year, and I've played table tennis since I was a student, back when I used a single-ply blade. Back then, if you were a drive-oriented player, a single-ply blade was really the only option people considered. Recently, a friend of mine said he'd gotten a new racket, so we went to play at the sports center near my place, and it turned out he was using this Hadraw JPV. I figured a multi-ply blade would be hard to use, but when I tried it out, the spin was better than anything I'd used before — it was amazing. So even though I'd always used a single-ply blade, I went out and bought this racket right away. It's that good. I wish I'd discovered it sooner. Please give it a try.

I think this is a racket for drive-oriented penhold players, among those who like to flex the blade and focus on spin. It has good ball-holding feel and good bounce, so I think it's a great racket that a wide range of players, from beginners to advanced, can use.
