It's all-wood but it really bounces when you hit it. When you hit topspin drives, the goodness of the wood comes through, and you get speed too. It's also stable, so I think it's a really good blade. The grip is on the thick side and the blade is on the large side too, so it might be a bit unwieldy to handle. Also, it's heavy.

The Chinese penhold version was a limited release, but I really wish they'd make it a regular product!!
It's such a waste to make a 7-ply with this good a feel a limited release... I only have one right now so I want a spare too.
From using it, the rebound is high and the bounce is great, so you can put out amazing balls both in rallies and on single big hits!
People say it's heavy, but mine is 82 grams, so it's actually on the lighter side.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

It's heavy.
But because of that, you rarely get overpowered by your opponent's shots.
Even in topspin rallies, you don't need a big swing to get good balls in.

It's really easy to use — the ball holds on the blade well and you can generate speed, so it's great for hitting fast, high-spin drives with ease. Because the ball holds so well, hitting against backspin is fairly easy too.
It handles the short game well too, so you don't have to think too hard about the short game or your returns.
The blade itself has power, which also means you don't get overpowered on drives or blocks.
It definitely has bounce, but because the ball holds so well it's easy to control, and the bounce itself isn't excessive to begin with.The flip side of that high power and resistance to being overpowered is that it's heavy.
The Mizuno rubbers that seem to pair especially well with it also tend to be on the heavier side overall, so I think you need some getting used to it and some arm strength to swing it around.
Once you understand this downside (and honestly, that's about the only downside), it's a really easy blade to use. It's stable on consecutive hits and has plenty of power to put the ball away, so I recommend it!Oh, and considering the quality and performance, the price is incredibly cheap.

Perfect. This is exactly the blade I was hoping for!
That said, if you put Tenergy on both sides it gets heavy — around 200 grams total.
So I can't recommend it unless you're a powerful player.
I'd recommend something like G1 thick or GFT Pro thick.

It's a really good blade that handles every technique smoothly, but it really is very heavy — even though it pairs well with tacky rubbers, the weight is no joke, so I felt like this one ends up limited to players who are confident in their strength.

National team player Oshima uses this blade, and a lot of college players use it too — it's become one of the benchmark blades for the plastic ball era. A lot of people struggled with getting pushed around by the ball or having trouble putting spin on it after the switch from celluloid to plastic balls, but with the Fortius FT there's nothing that feels hard to do — topspin drives, hitting, the short game, counters, none of it gives you trouble. It works fine with tension rubbers, tacky rubbers, and short pips too, and the price is reasonable, so I'd say any attacking player should try it at least once. The one downside is that the blade is on the heavy side, and being a 7-ply, the heavier individual blades tend to fly better. There wasn't a choice for the feel so I picked the harder one, but I'd call it medium.
