It doesn't have the usual hard-to-use feel of a 7-ply blade. Also, I bought the FL version, and it's really easy to hold — the grip felt like something between a Viscaria and a Zhang Jike blade. At 95g it's fairly heavy, but the specs more than make up for it, and it's super cheap, so I can't hide my surprise at Mizuno here! The feel is what you'd expect from a 7-ply, but it's easy to vary the power of your shots and I felt the maneuverability was excellent. There's plenty of spin too, so I really have nothing to complain about! The only thing is that the blade size is big, so when I tried putting on rubber I'd used on another blade, there was a gap left over — that part was a little disappointing...

Before switching to the Fortius FT, I used TSP's SWAT, but I think switching to the Fortius FT was the right call.
The reasons being:
The blade is on the heavier side, so it's hard to get pushed back by the opponent's shots
The feel is great
It's very easy to control
and so on. Being a 7-ply, the ball leaves the blade quickly so it's a bit harder to put spin on, but overall I thought it was a really easy-to-use, good blade.
The rubber I'd recommend is Mizuno's GFT series.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch

It's really bouncy. But because of that, it also
feels a bit harder to control.
That said, the feel isn't bad at all — it's actually really nice.
It's a fairly cheap blade, so why not give it a try?

The blade weighed 94g. Since I'm using a relatively light Tenergy these days, it didn't quite reach 190g total, which was nice! I really have no complaints. If there's one thing, it's that it's heavy! If you don't do some strength training you'll wreck your shoulder, lol. I play a close-to-the-table all-round style so I wasn't sure how it would work out, but it turned out to have great stability. Drives come out really heavy! That's thanks to the weight. This was my first 7-ply blade, so it felt heavy, but not so much that I couldn't swing all the way through. A lot of junior high kids these days use heavy rubber and skip 7-ply blades (myself included), but without a 7-ply you just can't get this kind of destructive power and heavy ball! I'd recommend it, but if you want to buy one, you'll need to hit the gym. Also, if you're already a 7-ply user looking for stability that's one thing, but if you're coming from something like an SK7, I don't think you'll be satisfied with the speed.

It's easy to vary the power of your shots and easy to control. Flicks off the short game and stops are stable, and even hitting hard gives you decent speed, so no complaints there. I'd recommend it to anyone whose game has suffered since the switch from celluloid to plastic balls. Some pieces run heavy, so you might need to pick a rubber you can still swing through properly.

This is genuinely a great blade.
The grip is about standard thickness and easy to hold. The feel is medium — not too hard, not too soft. It's got decent flight, about average for a 7-ply blade, and the spin is excellent too. You can play a fast, punchy game or lean fully into spin. The arc isn't too high or too low — it comes up just right, so pushes are easy to hit, and power drives produce ridiculous speed while still carrying tons of spin. And on top of all that, it's only a bit over 7,000 yen. The value for money is insane ('Д') — honestly, the performance is on par with a blade in the 10,000+ yen range.
The spin and speed are several levels above even that high-performance, great-value SWAT blade. But there's one drawback: the weight — it's on the heavy side. Still, it's not as bad as the SK7, so it was fine for me.Also, I heard that Oshima switched from a Timo ALC to a Fortius FT to prioritize maneuverability in the short game, but honestly, the short-game handling is just average. With a bounce level like GFT or Rakza, you can stop the ball firmly enough, though. If you're coming from a special-material blade, the short game might feel easier, but I think a 5-ply user switching to this blade will find the short-game handling a bit lacking.
