If you're curious about it, you should definitely give it a try.

This blade gives a really pleasant feel when paired with the GF series rubbers.
Out of all the blades I've hit with (though I haven't tried that many), this had the best feel by far.

A blade with great grip on the ball and good bounce.
It's a 7-ply, but it produces a nice arc, and if you mishit, the ball tends to fly long. Rather than a soft rubber that loses power easily, a somewhat harder rubber suits it better.
It's not a blade that bounces the ball on its own — it only sends the ball as far as the power you put into it. That also makes the no-spin techniques easy, and stops sit down really well.
As a side note, the Chinese-penhold handle is thin, which makes it hard to keep a stable angle on the backhand side.

Exactly as the title says. It's easy to hit deep, fast shots — very much what you'd expect from a 7-ply. On top of that, since it's on the softer side, it's also stable. It's a fantastic blade that works for everyone from beginners to pros. My only complaint is the sound — it makes a kind of hollow "poc poc" noise. Other than that, nothing to complain about.

I of Shino (Experience: １１〜２０ years) Close to carbon feel even with 7-ply wood?

The first thing that stands out about this blade is the sound and feel on contact. When you really commit to the impact and swing all the way through, you can feel a fast drive fly off it! Also, compared to other 7-plies, the top ply is quite hard, giving it a feel closer to a carbon blade. Among all-wood blades, it's more of a fast, low-grip type, so it pairs amazingly well with Tenergy. But if budget is an issue and you want something other than Tenergy, I'd recommend Mizuno's own GF series.

With this being a 7-ply, I've never found it hard to use, and the speed is more than enough — it manages to combine spin and speed while staying stable, which makes it a really great blade. That said, the blade itself is a bit on the soft side, so I think a slightly harder rubber works well with it. It's really good value too, and honestly there's nothing bad about it. If I had to say one thing, the feel on contact might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing. I used to use the SK7, and with the Fortius it kind of feels like hitting a plank of wood, so I could see people being split on it. But it's nothing that really bothers me, so I think it's fine.
